Anyone know the record for most OT games in one series?

Not sure about that, but they did say that this first round in general set an NHL record for most OT games played....at 18. 18 games decided in OT, sounds like an evenly match series.

Sucks, seems like Matthews was just starting to get his groove... was hoping to see at least another round of the Leafs.

First time since 2001 that no series has gone 7 though...

Couple great games by the capitols to resurrect their season, but can't buy a damn goal tonight and it's going back down in flames.

He was at least partially responsible for both goals last night. He couldn't seem to turn it up anymore (Kadri hit?), it's unfortunate.

But he is what he is - a scoring winger, a physical force, and not much more. His playoff stats are fine at a PPG. His playoff woes are not on him, but the whole team despite . Regardless this team if they want to win, need to look for a different kind of leader. Ovi was never meant to be a mental leader. This doesn't mean he doesn't deserve better.

the difference in the series was goal tending... Holtby was not up to the task 5 out of the 7 games

He get's shit on way more than he deserves imo, he's not the reason the Capitals haven't won a Stanley Cup.
