Go Cards!!!!

You have to remember they watch baseball so they are a bit slow.

Baseball posts are probably contained in the "official thread" more than any other sport, which clearly speaks to the cerebral nature of the game and fans. Try again. 😛

if you think that the best game in baseball history needs to stay in the official baseball thread and doesn't deserve its own thread, you're a dumbass.

If you think this game was the best game in baseball history, you're an ignoramus.

And stupid enough to live in Missouri.

I think that makes you dumber since you chose to move there.

you seriously think that your opinion of this shitty state means anything to me? i'm from maryland.

and the fact that you really don't know jack shit about my life and why i'm still here or where i'm going doesn't really mean much to me either.

It was a game of comical errors, maybe the 'best' in terms of entertainment, but certainly not the best in terms of skill.

the first half was filled with errors, yeah. it was a little below 40 degrees tonight. errors will happen with those conditions.

the game was fantastic... the errors added to the suspense. you didn't know if there was gonna be another one around the corner to make or break the game.

also, the script couldn't have been better where david freese, a hometown hero, a dude who committed an error earlier in the game, a dude who quit baseball in college, blasts a home run in the bottom of the 11th to force game 7.

That's kinda the problem as it's still baseball. 😛

It can be a tedious sport to watch at times but last night's game was great entertainment and drama. I'm not sure if it will go down as the best however, some of those errors were like watching a little-league game, poor communication and misplayed balls were not caused by cold weather, LOL. Thread will probably get locked as the official thread is where everyone's been posting since the series started..

Sorry not best world series game ever. The 1960 7th game were Mazeroski hit the 9th inning game winning home run against the Yankees.

Or the 1993 series where Joe Carter hit the 3 run shot in the bottom of the 9th of game 6 to win it for the blue jays.

Definately one of the top 10 WS games ever played in terms of entertainment. I was there, it was awesome. Trust me.

I also love the trolls in here...

I really don't like baseball and I can say that last night's game was absolutely incredible. Yes, it was plagued with errors, but the drama of the home team coming back from two runs down with two outs and two strikes TWICE is absolutely sensational. And you get the bonus drama of the hometown hero hitting the triple to keep the Cards in the game in the 9th and then blasting the solo home run to win it 2 innings later. It was like a hack Hollywood script... but it was real.

It was amazing... if it was a game 7 it'd easily be the greatest WS game of all time. We can only hope for such drama tonight!
