that is not the full commercial . . .

the full is about 60 seconds . . .

basically, it shows a dream where all these schoolkids and teachers are looking up and out the windows at a boy "flying in a corvette"

he then drives very fast on a bridge and goes up a ramp, going into the air, where he sees a girl in a silver corvette convertible who winks at him . . .

he then spins the car into a parked position, and the commericial shows that hes just looking at a parked red corvette

OK, I don't have a problem with that commercial because it's not realistic at all.
I do have a problem with the WRX commercial where this guy takes his friend for a ride on Pacific coast highway and shows off his skills by going crazy fast, because I can actually see some moron doing that and killing himself and his friend.

Well, isn't there a Porsche commercial that's kinda similar?

I find it perfectly harmless... I mean the Outpost.com commericials with hamsters being shot out of cannons was far "worse"...

More importantly:

Chrysler pulled its sponsorship of the "Lingerie Bowl," which featured models in scanty outfits playing football and aired during halftime of the Super Bowl in February.

Of course morons need commercials to tell them what to do, honestly do you really think someone is going to go out and buy a WRX and drive it like a grandma then all of a sudden he watches a TV ad and goes out and drives like a madman? God people like you take all fun the out of life. :)

Umm, I literally just watched this ad a couple mins ago during the Olympics coverage.

BTW, I had read this thread and so when the ad came on I hit the record button on my AIW card. I could encode the video minus the first few seconds that I missed.
