It's a Corvette ad about a kid dreaming of owning a Corvette. He goes driving around and flying through the air and he makes a jump and passes a young girl of his age in another corvette and she winks at him.

Totally harmless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fuggin' idiots. I'll see if I can find it

I for one am glad they pulled it. When I watched it, I thought it was advocating that 10 year olds should drive sports cars dangerously without a license... but that's just me.

I'd take your sarcasm meter in for its annual tune-up. ;)

Because as we all know, commercials are wholly 100% responsible for every ludicrous thing the stupid people that watch them do, as well as their inability to seperate reality from jest or glam marketing. I mean really, what boy dreams about doing 10 under in a Volvo?

If you need a smiley to know that someone is being facetious, maybe you didn't have a sarcasm meter to begin with. ;););):):):):)

hmm, they had the full version on chevycorvette.com, but they pulled that off too . . .

i dont understand though . . . shouldn't we just pull ALL car commercials that show that a car can be sporty? I mean, it does say at the beginning, "this is a dream, obey all traffic laws, do not drive without a license" in PLAIN VIEW

i'm only 14, but i drive our family's toyota camry in and out of the driveway and onto the street (our driveway is only big enough for one car and our garage is in the back with 2 cars)

and don't all car lovers have dreams where they're driving a nice car fast and a hot chick pulls up to you and winks at you (im not saying the girl in the commercial was hot - im not a pervert :p), but even I dream that im driving 150mph . . .

. . . .

. . . .

i'll shut up now . . .

The safety groups said in a letter to GM released on Wednesday that the spot could encourage children to take their parents' cars for a drive.

Well I for one am glad these commercials were pulled. After all expecting a parent to do their job by raising a kid that isn't an idiot is just too much to ask.

Well the QT clip shows some of the video but not little text notifications. Don't they have some little text thing saying closed course, professional driver, don't try this outside a track?

Edit: Nevermind. Someone posted it did.
