GM cannot drop anything since they have UAW breathing down their necks. The way to recovery that I see is to separate the regular and fleet divisions. Instead of making cars that are both fleet and consumer friendly, make the no frills ones ones for fleet and sell better packaged ones to the average buyer. Way too many GM cars have the ugly rental car interior that turns off consumers, even if the car is well built mechanically.

Discount on a default Cobalt takes it from $14.1k to $12.9k roughly. That's without tax/title fees. Depending on the vehicle you basically save $1-1.5k. Nothing too special.

Hmm nice.

Went to the local Saturn dealership. My wife is thinking of getting the Relay.

With this discount they are about what we were looking to spend. (about 24k). I like how they look and the size.

The employee discount varies by model.

Too bad the Corvette is the only GM car worth getting anymore... Even the H2 is horrible.
