Now, I love Bernie Sanders, and there is no candidate on either side who most espouses my hopes and dreams for our Republic, but I'm voting for Hilary Clinton for president because politics is the art of the possible, and the most politically possible thing I can contribute my vote to is who will nominate the next Supreme Court candidates in the next 4-8 years.

Given what I like to think feminism is supposed to represent I'd also like to think there are better ways to show admiration for someone like Gloria Steinem than talking about how attracted you are to her and how impressive she is for a woman. If only we could get past our hangups that cause us to see gender in every place where it doesn't matter anymore.

You figure Steinem is going to be savaged here like Clinton is but I could have guessed that wouldn't happen, and not just because you dared people to do it. Steinem isn't running for president so people have much less incentive to attack her. You didn't think people attacked Clinton just because she's a woman or a feminist, did you? All presidential candidates with any prospects get insults flung at them left and right, I don't see why Clinton deserves a different standard than the rest of them.

This is unfortunately becoming common rhetoric, where feminists claim that women who disagree with them do so because of male interests. Something which is ironically pretty sexist towards women.

I don't quite understand why feminists are so enthusiastic to have a woman running the country. The whole point of feminism (supposedly) is that men and women are fundamentally the same, and that behavioral differences are socially constructed. Hillary being a woman doesn't mean anything. She's just as awful as any penis-carrying neocon.

In reality, feminism is never about equality. Feminism is a supremacy movement. Much like white nationalists think whites are superior to blacks, feminists think women are superior to men. Just by being a woman, Hillary is automatically assumed to be a better person than Bernie. According to feminists, there's no way a woman could be a violent dictator. Strangely, after 400+ years, children still hear about "Bloody" Mary Tudor of England. I guess that doesn't count. Queen Mary was part of the patriarchy and her violence was the fault of men, or something.

I'm obviously not saying that Hillary is an evil person like Bloody Mary. My point is that one should not assume someone is good just because they are female. People need to be judged as individuals. As individuals, Hillary is a horrible person while Bernie is not.

Hey this may be completely subjective, but I don't see that as "savaging." The first post doesn't even mention her, the second says she's "not smart." The third comes the closest I guess, but I still don't see it as the same level as reflexively calling Clinton "Hildebeast" at all, which was the standard you used. The comments don't even manage to come close to the level of insults you're using against me right now. So are you savaging me too? Are you one of the ugliest and most primitive voices? Or no, because I deserve it and Steinem doesn't? Anything to do with gender?

Even if it were true - Imagine the horror that girls would actually seek boys out. I mean, really, boys need to be lapdogs that seek girls out (lapdogs that girls do not respect and are eventually repulsed by because deep down they know they want something more than a slobbering cuck).
