Glenn Beck Calls Sarah Palin a ‘Clown': I’m Embarrassed I Supported Her

First question, what took people like Glenn so long to realize what was obvious during '08 election?

Allegedly smart Republicans continued to insist Sarah was qualified to be VP years after the election. Fox News continued to promote her. She had tons of Republican support

Last question, with heroines like Sarah Palin why should that part of the electorate be trusted with any consequential decisions in the upcoming election?

The simplest test to determine eligibility would be "which party do you belong to".

It's only alleged. No current Republican has ever been proven smart.

Personally I don't know if this is simply a falling out among thieves (or clowns) or whether Beck honestly has had a change of heart. Given the enormous amount of BS he has spread before I'm thinking it is more of an effort for Beck to regain relevance so he call sell a few more million books and tapes.

The comments in OP's link are pretty entertaining.

Oh, she isn't important to the GOP - she is just someone whom the GOP felt she could run the country.

Yeah, she is totally a non issue,.. please.

Conservatives need to stop downplaying her, same with Trump. They LOVE these morons.

What the hell was John Mc thinking when he picked her.

As a member of the Senate "Gang of Eight", John McCain worked with Democrats on things like amnesty, the Republican base hated what those Senators stood for. Making a conservative VP was an attempt to please the base.

Conservatives have a brain defect that makes them irrational. They don't assess things logically; they react emotionally. But they have been taught that reason is good and irrationality is evil, they powerfully deny what they actually are and thereby make themselves appear to be profoundly stupid. For this, on those rare occasions where they may awaken from this delusion, all they can do is shake their heads and say sorry, I can't imagine how I could have been so wrong. But they are always wrong because they can't see their motivations.

Palin was chosen because she was female and the republicans needed some sort of minority to counter the democrats. If the next republican nominee is a white male, the VP nominee selection will again be a minority of some sort, which most likely means Ben Carson or Carly Fiorina.

Or Ted Cruz and he'll start going by his legal name Rafael again.

Liberals have the same defect, just a different type.

Personally, Palin interests me for her Conservative principals. Not only that but she hunts and fishes! How many of you could gut a moose? LMAO!

One thing is for sure, she'd be a hell of a lot better as President than this clown Obozo. For one she wouldn't alter defense intelligence reports and actually listen to her CIA briefings in the morning.

I wonder if she plays golf? :hmm:

PS. It's telling that after all these years she still manages to get under Liberal's skin. HAHAHAHAHAHA!

"under Liberal's skin"? Well, maybe not in the sense of getting constantly burned by witty come backs as much as, well...

I really don't know how Sarah Palin became a governor.

She wants to head Dept. of Energy if Donal Trump wins, because she know oil, gas, minerals? And she thinks it's dumped by god?

But what I really want to know is why people want a casino operator, who took poor people's money, bankrupted several times, make himself rich, to be our president and be proud of him?

What will the people of the world and next generation will view the U.S.?

He was not thinking. This is why he cannot be trusted to be President and lost the election.

Anyhow who thought Palin was a good VP has no business being president.

Many conservatives are so eager to see reflections of themselves in positions of power and influence, and Palin is the ultimate manifestation of that.

How? If Trump has highest support rating at the end of campaign , Republican nomination committee can still nominate another person?

What the hell was John Mc thinking when he picked her.

His first, second and third choice was Joe Lieberman but he was told in no uncertain terms that he would have an open revolt in the GOP ranks if he picked a nominal Democrat as his running mate. Palin was a last minute impulse choice that was barely vetted. For a while it looked like an excellent political move as well.

Some people love her-I have relatives that still have Palin bumper stickers on their pickups.

There are like 14 candidates that are actual politicians. As they drop out their 3% support will go to hen Bush, eventually putting him at the top.

The question is whether the other candidates will drop in time. If too many of them stay in during the early primaries, bush might not be able to get enough delegates.
