You must be kidding, RayEarth. I have but one suggestion for you, go read Anand's review of the GTS2 - it compares it to the MX (among several other cards). Read and be wise.
 
I'm in the same boat with you guys. Ordered mine Dec 23, got an e-mail that order sent to warehouse. After 2 days, I received this Still looking e-mail from Buy.com. I e-mailed them back, told them about my frustration, haven't received any reply yet. I was trying to find their phone number, can you e-mail it to me so I can call them? Thanx

How did you figure the Elsa Gladiac MX for 99.12?? I see it at buy.com for 116.95. There are a few $10 coupons floating around and the 30 is off $150 but I still don't see how you get that number. I really could use a new video card, and I need it in about a week. I wanted the Geforce2 but I waited too long to get in on the deal and now who knows when they'll be back in stock. I was going to get an MX if I could get one for under $100, but decided on the Geforce2 since the deal was so good, but now I'm back for getting an MX for under $100.

Any details would be greatly appreciated on how to get the Elsa Gladiac MX (I'm assuming retail from buy.com). Thanks.

It depends on what resolution you will run at or whether you will use FSAA. IMHO, it's not worth it because Geforce2 MX's won't drop in price too much so you can sell it later and buy a $100 card 6 months from now which will be better than the GTS.
 
as for me, i'm willing to wait for it. Patience is the key my friends. I'm in no big worry or frustration in obtaining the card. Now only if i find there is a better deal while i'm waiting then i'll be pissed.
 
Guys we need to keep each other updated here on the Stock Status of these puppies...I too am eagerly awaiting an update from my "SENT TO WAREHOUSE" Status.

I have an interesting theory on why some people are getting them before others who have order much earlier....

Is it possible that it is all based on region?...meaning that people on the EAST Coast who order possibly get them from an East Coast Warehouse where as someone on the West Coast who has been waiting much longer is perhaps waiting so long because BUY.COM is waiting for their West Coast warehouse to restock and ship??

With this theory in mind, I'd love to ask everyone who is awaiting one of the ELSA GTS cards to simply take a little survery here.....and I'll START it OFF:

WHERE are you LOCATED? NEW JERSEY
WHEN DID U PLACE ORDER? WEDNESDAY DEC 27th
WHAT was the LAST EMAIL STAUS? SENT TO WAREHOUSE

I placed my order around 9pm EST on 12/23/2000...

I haven't bothered e-mailing them or calling them or anything, just leaving those folks alone 🙂

Today it says, complete, shipped yesterday 12/28/2000 at 7am or so. It's from the same PA location that my line conditioner, 50 pack of cds, and 25 pack of slimline cases came from. I should have it by Tuesday or Wednesday.

the elsa gladiac cost 119.12 at onvia, & the 20 coupon i used on 1 of my order went to backorder, so i cancelled the order & told them about my coupon, so they said I can use the 20 coupon again on another item, hehehe... so now I can wait for the geforce to come in at buy.com or use $20 of coupon at onvia to get the elsa gladiac mx for $99. & then use the 30 coupon at buy for another item by cancelling my geforce2 order, but I'l still waiting a few more days.
 
Just some info I ordered my card on the 23rd Dec and got that same "Still Looking" email as everyone. I checked my order status this morning and it has been shipped to me with a schedual arrival of the 29 which is today yahoo!! I would hang in there folks they are getting them in and filling orders. I live in S. Cali for those who are wondering. Also have you seen the price has gone up on thier sight🙂
 
I ordered on the 25th...still says "Sent to Warehouse" and called CS today...woman said they're expecting multiple shipments on Jan 4th.
I'm in NY, btw.

I did notice in my account that I still had an order "Sent to the Warehouse" from May of 2000. It was for the Microsoft Optical Mouse that they had for $20 with a $15/off coupon...heheh...now that's a long wait!

a USB cable and an ATA66 cable and used a coupon;
paid out something <$5 but doubt I'll ever see that
$20 mouse.

Re: Order filled from 12/26...see, that really bugs me. I told CS today that you have to take orders first come, first served. It's ridiculous to hear people ordering a day after you getting their orders filled before yours. I know, I know, they probably fulfill orders via stock in regional warehouses, but if a warehouse is out of stock and has pending orders, they should be redirected. If it means a longer shipping time, so be it.

Sounds like they're just trying to save shipping $$$ for less distance, but it's still not a good policy, in my opinion. I mean what if there was a problem getting more stock, period, and your order came well before someone else's who had theirs fulfilled? It's just not right... 🙁

I ordered on the 23rd...i called yesterday and they told me they it will be in stock in few weeks...Checked my status on the web site and its says its shipped..the ups guy just showed up 1 hour ago.
 
What the krunk? I planned on ordering this sucka today and the prices have gone up $25-$40! Closest deal is a $135ish shipped pricematch and coupon from Staples. Stink!
