Well I'm not a fan of anything Nintendo so the Wii is definitely out. I already own a premium xbox360 so that answers that question. The PS3 is iffy, because I'm not sure what bundle gets what, so I'd have to wait, although $600 is lot of money for a console.

Doubful I'll get any console, I'm a PC gamer. The bad thing about PC gaming now is that game requirements have far outpaced OS and app requirements. It's getting real hard to justify the expense of a top end gaming system.

I haven't owned a console since the SNES...that said, if the revolution has a controller that allows me to swing a sword in game and track its movements...I very well may buy one.

At $150, I'd pick up a Wii. The prices of PS3 and xbox360 are to high for me, maybe in a year or so. There will be a good amount of used games by then as well.

I just can't understand how Sony is getting away for charging $100 more for 40 extra GBs of harddrive space. You can get 200GB for less than that right now. Unbelievable.

Wii = too many kiddy games imo. Nothing against the system. Sony seems WAY too EXPENSIVE(iffy also). I'm probably going to pick up a 360 in the upcoming weeks.

I never heard of $149 being the rumored price. I've heard $199 because that's what their last 4 consoles cost, and I've heard $249 because $199 is pretty cheap for a modern system. $199 is a little optimistic, $149 is overly optimistic.

Probably using laptop harddrives. That's still a stretch on the price, but not as bad of one.
