obama's biggest problem is that he tried to give the republicans what they wanted in a lot of areas thinking this would appeal to the middle.
BS

Not one Republican voted for the Obamacare.
Only a couple vote for the stimulus.
Obama essentially went on record can declared that he won and the Republicans don't count.

All this 'gave Republicans' what the want is just wishful thinking by a bunch of people who refuse to admit how weak and ineffective Obama is as a leader.

So wait, is he weak and ineffective, or steamrolling helpless Republicans? Or is the weak and ineffective leader steamrolling Republicans?

The Obama administration has deported more illegals than the Bush admin did?
Thank god we didn't elect the Republican "Open Borders" McCain.

Yet he also has instructed government agencies to violate/ignore the law w/ this respect

Since the Repubs are going to hold the House and the Senate and i like a divided government, Pres. Obama should be re-elected. It's not accurate to me, but it's the best reason i could come up with.

The repugs wernt gonna play ball on that issue. They just wanted to divert and delay.

He did give them a lot with the no taxes thing plus other stuff

A savy politician who took advantage of the "mandate" as a chance to use his overwhelming backing in Congress to push through legislation that was not well thought out, conceived in the backroom without any exposure and crafted together as bribes vs quality.

You are welcome to think his policies were bad ones, but Pro-Jo appears to be attempting to have it both ways in claiming Obama was both weak and ineffective, yet also painting Republicans as powerless to stop him.

Well they are doing everything in their power to blame Obama for the state of the economy.

And he is to blame. The "But Bush..." argument is getting tired, it's been 3 years, and his best solution is "more spending now for future cuts that will never actually happen"

hes being obstructed at every step. The worst thing for the repugs would be progressive policies actually working. they must make sure they are never even tried.

Please provide an example of the republicans obstructing anything Obama has demanded. And no, democrats failing to get all of their own members to agree does not constitute republicans obstructing.

oh please. Lunch is over, I dont have time to do this for you. I realize since I made that statement its up to me to back it up but you will never see eye to eye with me so im not going to fuck around.

Yes, because we want democrats to be lock step no matter how much it runs us into the ground just like republicans are 😵 The last thing we need is a second party to become mindless idiots like republicans.

Throwing trillions at a problem, but having the money slowly get paid out meanwhile threatening the whole time to raise income and Captial Gains taxes is NOT how to stimulate an economy.

He promised to reach across the isle yet not one republican was involved with the writing of the Healthcare Bill then it was rushed through a vote. That's transparency....

The obstructions you speak of was the Republicans trying to cut a measly $66 Billion from yet another $1.4 Trillion Deficit.

Yet you wingnuts thought "But Clinton ..." was great for 8 years. Most problems Obama is fighting started before he took office. That's a fact.

I never claimed they were powerless.

I claimed that Obama did what he did without getting them involved.

You guys like to bitch that Obama sucks because he worked with the GOP too much and my point is that he never worked with them at all. His sucking is all his own fault due his lack of leadership ability.

Can any of you Obama supporters give a positive reason as to why we should give Obama another term.

What has Obama accomplished that deserves to be rewarded with another four years?

Prevent the country from falling into a second Great Depression.

So basically you are demanding republicans vote for unpopular legislation they adherent oppose just so democrats can blame the bad legislation on them. K, we'll get right on that...oh wait we actually did do that 🙁

What's sad is that I think you actually believe this. It takes a truly bizarre case of revisionist history to attempt to paint Obama as insufficiently bipartisan as compared to the Republicans.

I mean wow. Just wow.

On what major policy decisions did Obama work with Republicans.

Obamacare? Nope.
Stimulus? Nope.

Have other major ones that I am missing?

Again, you guys are running around claiming that Obama only sucks because Republicans are making him suck. If that is true then give specific examples of this happening.

I'm not affiliated with any party, get your facts straight. Nonetheless, as far as I remember, "But Bush" was an leftnut response to any problem even when Bush was in office.

Obstructed from what? It's not like he's actually trying to address the economic problems, and "more spending" doesn't count as a solution.

Seriously, I'm just quoting this for sheer derangement.

So you blame the Republicans for the Democrats short comings? Not that they should all tow the same line, but you can't bitch about people on the other team not helping you out. That's just silly. Remember this is a team game and as long as you root for one of the teams, you're part of the problem. They're both ran by pieces of shit and shit is shit. Gold covered shit is still shit.

who cares. Republicans had no interest to work with Obama on health care. Obama called for bipartisan meetings and got burned (his fault as well) by Republicans and Democrats who dragged the process along. Clinton passed the Deficit Reduction Act of 1993 with ZERO votes from House and Senate Republicans. Republicans screamed murder saying the increase in taxes would destroy the economy, etc. This act helped lay the ground works for balancing the budget and increased economic growth until George W. Bush came into office with tax cuts for everyone and endless wars. Clinton got ZERO Republican votes and that was one of his most important accomplishments.
