Give me a name, one that you associate with negatively.

I am curious to see if a trend occurs here, is there a particular name that you have noticed to be associated with unpleasant, dishonest, violent or otherwise defective "bad" people?

I have known a few "Eds" with similar selective morality, while the few "Freds" I have known were all very kind and intelligent people.............

Hmm, I didnt see the type of trend I expected, but I notice that most of us do have a name or two in mind that we have had a negative association with.

I was expecting to see a name that I considered common and shared a negative association with, instead I found that there are names mentioned that I either have no personal experience with, or have a positive oppinion of.

Nameism appears not to be universal.

Wow, now that you mention it, every "Ed" I have known was pretty much a deadbeat.

I can't say I know of any. I have a positive view of the name of "Jennifer" however. Ever since I hit puberty I've noticed females named Jennifer (as opposed to males) have a remarkably high rate of physical attractiveness. Seriously, at my school there were multiple Jennifers that were insanely beautiful. Think of the many Jennifer celebrities. It's crazy.

Jims are fat and clumsy. Julians are pale, usually sick, and rather suicidal. Johns are uneducated and lazy. Matts are whiny and fat. AJs, CJs, and DJs are violent, fat, and ugly. Colins are nerdy and skinny. Nicoles are snobs.

Never ever trust anyone with the name Dick.

Speaking of that name, in my physics class last year, there was a mural painted by an ex-teacher. His name was Richard Less. We think he may have been made fun of a lot when he was younger.

I actually had a customer named Richard Head. :Q I'm betting he would not allow people to call him Dick.
