How can he be a viable candidate when probably 30% of Republican women and 60% of Independant women will never vote for him.

I know its awesome ain't it!!

I just got a return back from my Conservative Sister-n-law stating the same thing.

Given the incredibly weak GOP field this was almost inevitable.

But it's pretty hard to find a person more "ethically challenged" (polite talk for being a scumbag) than Gingrich. It would be like us electing a Berlusconi.

I think he's by far the best candidate of either party, I just don't think he could win a general election against obummer and the media.

Ginrich is no conservative. Cap n' Trade, individual mandate, admires FDR (think his face should go up on Mt Rushmore LOL), won't cut anything, just another big government republican who thinks he can run "big government" better than the democrats.

No thanks.

Wicked smart that one. He'd have obama crying like a baby in a debate. Love to see that. Crap where is my teleprompter! You can't say that to me I am the King!

Why does no one remember that this is McCain 2.0? he was say back for a long time and the media pushed him because they were not afraid of him. Milktoast boring.

Romney they fear because he is middle of the road and is clintonian in the way he bends with the polls and will say anything to get elected. Cain they are afraid of well because well you know why...

No one is afraid of Newt except the unlucky Host/Hostess or participants in the debates with him. Wicked smart that one. Too bad he's smarter than the field plus obama but too pissed off than to have nothing but contempt for the idiots around him.

Clinton was a known womanizer and creep, and look how many women voted for him?

He never claimed he fooled around out of love of country... nor did he attack anybody else hypocritically on that basis.

None of that is true wrt Gingrich...

Democrats can run ads on how Gingrich ran impeachment proceedings on Clinton while cheating on his wife and there is no way he'll win. Gingrich is a scumbag.

Didn't Mr Gingrich have an earlier, before Mr Trump, starring role on the GOP Not Romney stage play?

Someone in this thread wrote that the media would make sure that Mr Gingrich would not win. Should the media not report Mr Gingrich's past actions, policies, and agenda?

Clinton is also much more likeable the Newt could ever dream of being. Newt comes across as being down right mean, not someone the average voter would want to have a beer with.

Women like womanizers. When I don't wear my wedding ring I don't even get flirted with. When it's on I get hit on all the time. Guess they figure if one woman can put up with em I can too.:p

Hasn't he been around for, like, ever and never won a primary because, well he's just totally unelectable?

Did Mr Gingrich really say he cheated on his marriage because he was over committed to the country?

Link?
I didn't watch Wednesday's debate...I still have to watch the entire thing.
The only part I've seen is Rick Perry stumbling for 2 minutes.
