Gigabyte’s Watch Dogs Legion code redeeming website lists many graphics cards that have not been announced by the manufacturer. In fact, these cards have not even been announced by NVIDIA yet.

The product list features GeForce RTX 3060 (S – SUPER?) 8GB model, GeForce RTX 3070 16GB (S- SUPER?) and Geforce RTX 3080 20GB (also labelled S). It remains unclear if the S means a SUPER series, or as our sources tend to believe, the Ti models.

Inno3d has filter for 20GB on their product listing page. It does look like they might announce them at any time.

3060Ti for $400, 8GB vram, about 15% slower than 3070 according to rumors should be a fantastic 1440p card. Could be a great upgrade for 1070 and 1070Ti owners.

RTX 3080 (Super) 20GB shouldn't be a surprise to anyone paying attention, Nvidia likely has plenty of GA102 dies which don't cut the grade for 3090 but can afford to activate much more of the die than what the 3080 currently uses. 3070S/3060S SKUs would further fill in performance levels around the 2080ti/2080S level, while anything below should be adaqueately serviced by TU104/TU106 in the short term.

Not sure what's up, but Microcenter nuked all but 3 3080's off their website. Maybe the 10GB is short lived with a few AIB's continuing to make the offering? None in stock currently. They usually just leave them up as SOLD OUT.

Newegg (Canada) has taken several off as well (including the highly reviewed ASUS tuff card), and you can't find any even listed on Amazon.

They have every possible memory configurations on that list it granted; there hasn't been a sole 20GB model yet. Yeah, it'll be here shortly - after the AMD launch at the earliest I suppose.

I think 3070 Super will come up with GDDR6x, exactly like they done to 2060 to 2060 Super but keeping the 8GB RAM, while 3080 Super will come up with higher GB of RAM and CUDA cores

What's the speculation when the 20gb models will arrive? Was considering getting a 3090 and calling it a day for the next 3 years but now I feel like I may as well wait.

That's October then so maybe I can wait. Kind of wanted a new card for Cyberpunk but the 1080ti will have to stick around a bit longer...if those 3090 10% gain rumors are true.

Very interesting, a 20GB RTX 3080. Been waiting for the Gigabyte RTX 3080 at $749.99, but it's been OOS at BestBuy, Amazon, Newegg, Micro Centre and B&H. Even eVGA is OOS.
I wonder if these retail places even had them in stock. BestBuy site has been a mess for days..

For the 3070S to come with GDDR6X, GA104 would need to have a memory controller capable of decoding PAM4 signaling. It's not impossible it could do both, but there's a bigger difference between GDDR6 and 6X than there was between 5/5X/6.

Conspiracy theory time:

The initial offering of the 3080 10GB was a low production run red herring to make a... let's say... $999 20GB 3080 a more attractive purchase. I assume the psychology there is that people that are already $800 into a card purchase are going to look at the extra $200 (25% increase) for an extra 10gb of ram (a 100% increase) look like a great deal.

Keep those sale prices and margins a little extra juiced.

I am guessing they would prefer to wait for 2GB DDR6X chips as that would be the easy way to do it. It would take a lot more effort and money to use 16 1GB chips as you'd have to put half of them on the other side of the card which will effect the board, the cooling, etc. As far as I know you can't get 2GB chips yet.
They could do the 3070 with 2GB DDR6 chips as they are available but I can't see them doing that until they can do the 3080.

Isn't the 3080 a 699$ card? At least officially?

Yeah, and that's what many AIBs are selling for too. I don't see how a $999 20GB 3080 would fly. That's putting the marginal cost of 10GB of GDDR6X at $300, which is nuts considering the 3080 already has that amount in its $700 price tag. I would think they'd have to launch it with slightly more shaders enabled than the 3080 and call it a super or Ti if they want to charge that much more.
