That's the exact same thing I was thinking when I zoomed in on the photo showing the HSF. I also noticed the Newegg description doesn't show the clock speeds for RAM or GPU...sorta unusual for a "high end" video card description at Newegg.

So is it a Zalman or not? The shape is EXACTLY the same but Zalman doesn't make a heatsink that's not at least part copper. Could they have just coppied it?

It's a Zalman hsf. Gigabyte's page about the card says it was done by Zalman. Probably a OEM only all aluminum version to keep costs down.
