Got some quest to drag some dead guys body from the wasteland to an outpost. So I went and got it and couldn't find a close outpost so I dragged it all the way to camp golf (like a 10 minute walk while dragging) and then realized I went to the wrong place and had to drag it all the way back. Was pissed so I delivered the body with no legs, arms or head. They didn't seem to care lol.

I'm pretty much at the end of the game now, so I decided to go on a killing spree in new Vegas to try to get to level 30. I kind of feel a little bad about all of the killing I did in the casinos.

I dont understand how a game using 6 year old source can have so many bugs. There are SO MANY of them that its stupefying. Crash to desktop happens at least once per play. Then there are the frozen baddies, where upon killing them you crash so desktop. Then one day ED-E just disappeared, and all my (expensive, heavy) shit with him. I spent today trying to find him, but nope, he's gone. Obsidan are hacks, they completely ruined KoToR2, i have no clue why BethSoft gave them this project. Its truly fukt.

Damnit another broken quest. Needless to say, this is the 3rd or 4th time entering vault 22. I gave the NRC their damn science for their food and now I'm doing it for my Brotherhood of Steel friend and now it has me in the food production room with nothing to go to. errrg

I just finished the game...well I rushed to main quest to get the Hardcore achievement (Hardcore mode is more an nuisance than a realism mode IMO).

The story is ok, not great but a 6-7/10. As you can see, you have multiple choices which will craft your ending cinematic, which is a nice touch.

Now I can restart and fully explore this world, no Hardcore mode, on hard or very hard, maybe some mods.

I lost ed-e also, along with cass. I can't do the quest to take rex to fix his brain because the dog growls at the invisible ed-e and I get a message saying I can only take one companion. Guess ed-e is in a different dimension and even though I can't see it dogs still can.

Can just respawn them in console or move them to you or something.

Yeah, im trying to add another party and it tells me that i cant add right now. WTF? ED-E is gone, but i cant add another member? Damn, this game is BUGGY. How does Obsidian get work after disasters like New Vegas?

Didn't know you can do that, I'll research the console commands and see if there are any to use. Thanks.

Don't know how this many bugs made it through. I'm still enjoying the game but man they could have done a better job with all these bugs.

Anyone stuck with "invisible" ED-E; go to the Lucky 38 and talk to Victor about seeing Mr. House; companions are left outside when you see House; I didn't try to get Rex back after "ditching" ED-E in this way, but I no longer had issues with being allowed into Caesar's tent, which requires you to go alone. Unlike House, companions are NOT automatically left behind and you have to tell them to wait. Still got dialog commenting on having ED-E as a companion though.

Try this:

prid 1732cf
moveto player

After the prid command you should see an ED-E text. Moveto moves him to you. If you dont get the text try "enable" after prid and before moveto. I did this and got ED-E back with one caveat--i got a NEW one and an old one.

I restarted a new game yesterday and got to Primm.

I don'T know if it's a bug and I don't remember how it went on my first game but here are the 2 things:

1- Commander Hayes in the NCR camp outside Primm...when you approach Primm a soldier runs to you and tells you to go talk to Hayes, which I did but it didn't triggered a quest (in my memory, I thought it did...). Then I ventured into Primm, done everything and got the quest to get a new Sheriff in there. I reprogrammed Silm Primm (right name?) and the quest got completed. I returned to see Hayes and I got a dialogue about getting a new Sheriff but it's as if I never gave Primm the Sheriff...and the quest is completed in the Pipboy...

2- I didn't repaired ED-E but saw him and activated him (just to see that I didn't had enough repair/science yet) and I got his quest "ED-E my love" from Nash in his casino, after liberating the old coward of a sheriff...is it a bug or another way to remind us to get ED-E?

Those both sound normal.

Yeah after more reading looks like everything is ok.

Second playthrough now and still discovering nerw places, I like that!

Wild Wasteland Perks is nice heheh!

I'm using Wild Wasteland, but it's my first play through, so I have no idea what it is responsible for....

Anything weird/out of place/absurd...that's it heheh!

But sometimes it's hard to know if it's caused by the trait or just "normal"...

But it's supposed to cause several random and weird encounters around in the wasteland, things more comical and absurd than plausible.

You will know by an icon that appears in the upper corner of your screen - the icon looks like a confused avatar.

So far I've only seen it twice [maybe more - I can't recall specifically where] - but one cave was filled with huge over sized giant rats [where I found a very nice sniper rifle that I still use at level 30 along with 2 other sniper rifles - .308 and a .50].

At level 30 and still haven't entered New Vegas yet. :)

I'd definitely like to replay again this time as an evil character/shady character who hates the NCR [not sure how that will go since a lot of the quests are based out of NCR places]

LOL, does having two cause any glitches or bugs?

Yes

Yes

are hacks

And they always have been.

NV not too bad overall, though. Has some non-bug glaring amateur-hour stuff that should have never made it out the door (that even Bethesda wouldn't have let slip by), but mostly decent.

It's worth reiterating that FFDShow, installed with a number of codec packs and Media player classic, causes absolute havok with New Vegas's stability. Check to make sure it's not installed if you're having crash/hang trouble, and if it is, exclude NV or uninstall.

Still loving this game. 50 hours in, second story quest, level 28. I ventured down into Vault 34 (I think) and was creeped out the whole time. I had ED-E and Veronica both camped out at Neil's Shack (I keep them there just so I know where they are. I don't like actually using companions, but I like their perks :p). All of the enemies in the vault were dead, and I was looking around a room. I turned around and Veronica was RIGHT THERE and I almost vacated my bowels. It's a good thing the game is fun as hell for me or I would have probably returned it because of the bugs.
