<< For about the last month or so, I seem to have an unwanted houseguest move in. It appears to be an old lady that just stares at you. The only ones that have seen it are the women in my family, my sister, my daughter and my mom. Tonight my girlfriend also saw it and freaked out so bad I had to take her home. Whatever this thing is, I want to send it back or at least get it to move on down the road. Any suggestions? >>



Just out of curiosity Jimbo, do you live in an older house?
 
Actually I don't really care who believes what. I just want a quick way to move this thing along.
And personally, I would rather have an open portal to Hell in my living room that have jerboy as a roomie.
Actually an open portal to Hell would be kinda cool. You could like toss all of your trash in there. 🙂
 
Maybe that ghost only appears to women becuase she wants to scare them away so she can have you to herself. 😉

The house is about 35 years old.

This place is a couple miles from where I live and appears in the national ghost registry(read the 1 review for Ashley's) The picture of the ghost on the wall was taken by the local paper which was investigating the claims made by the construction crews renovating the building about 20 years ago. They would come to work in the morning and they could hear some of the powertools running so they would rush in and the tools would turn off as soon as they entered :Q The third time they called the cops who witnessed the same thing! The paper decided to investigate and the photographer caught an image with a special camera (I don't know if it was IR or UV lens or what) the picture hangs on the wall and people pass the ghost registry around while eating to read about the place. Now if your thinking it's a gimmick then understand that the ghost stories concerning this building have been told for 75years(long before it was a restaurant). Also, many customers and employees have claimed to feel something brush passed them when going upstairs, and the list of haunting stories go on and on back many years. If you ever get to central Florida check it out as they make good casual food and the atmosphere is obviously cool, not to mention you have a chance of experiencing some of the reported "activities" as I know people who refuse to go near the place after an "experience".

I would say consult a Catholic priest. I think they are the only western religion that believes in hauntings, and possesions. But It wouldn't surprise me if more religions did.

I honestly don't remember.... the only thing I remember from it was that it was similar to your situation... female ghost in the mirror kinda thing..

I think I remember it but the only parts that I do remember is that they spread salt around the house. That made the ghost dissappear for awhile but when it reappeard it was pissed.

When I was a little kid (8 or 9), I woke up one evening looked out my second floor window at could have sworn there was a lady staring at me as she sat on a tree branch just outside. Never happened again, but it sure freaked the living hell outta me. Got my parents to install some heavier curtains....well it made me feel safer. (I remember my mom telling me I slept with covers over my head for like 2 months afterwards)

those are the best ideas i've heard yet. but if it's not causing any damage you should just let it be. there's ghosts in my house, but they don't bother me cause i let them hang out here. 🙂

because ouija boards are very dangerous. if you contact the wrong people they can really screw with you. i'm not even sure why they sell them as toys. just burn them if you ever come upon these stupid things.
 
maybe your mirrors are surveillance mirrors, and there someone in secrit passage ways in your house who likes to look at your lady friends. maybe the mirrors are of lower quality.
