I'd say call her local hospitals first. Then call the local police. Inbetween keep trying to reach her friends.

If she was out having fun for the weekend she'd probly use her checking/bank account.

Good luck. Hope she's ok.

This may have seemed funny to you when you posted it, but it's really not. Just do yourself a favor and STFU.

To the OP, best of luck finding her. I hope everything turns out alright.

If the OP was serious, he wouldn't be posting it here, he would've gone to the police, seriously.

In his defense, i don't think he was looking for any of us to find her. He was simply looking for some advice as his next step to finding her himself. I don't understand why some of you have to be f cking a$sholes.

I hope he's just an a$shole that's lying and girlfriend isn't hurt, but damn, give him the benefit of doubt and stop being stupid.

Wow, it amazes me how many @ssholes there are on this forum. Of course call the police, maybe they will visit her apartment.

You're an idiot. My girlfriend of four years went to culinary school in NYC last year. We lived together before she went to school, and we have lived together since her graduation. She went to school there. So I didn't live in NYC, and she did. Amazing!!!!!

Just because the OP doesn't live in the same city as her doesn't mean she's an online gf. It's entirely possible for people to live in different cities and have meaningful relationships. It's called a long-distance relationship.

So....could you please tell us how long you have been seeing her? How big is the possibility that she may have dumped you? Was the relationship on bad terms?

Anyways, you need to continue to contact her friends, and see if there is any update in NYC. Let them know that you are very nervous for her safety, and maybe they will stop covering for her (if in fact they are).

updates?

Good Lord... We need more info...

If there is a real chance that something is wrong... there are ppl who live in NYC... hellfire... I live in NJ, right by Giant Stadium... close enough to go knocking on her door if this is serious.

some of you people need to grow up. not everything on a forum is good for laughing at. aside from the fact that most of this place is meant to be humorous, it is a very good resource to find people with life experience and some good advice. tell me a better way to get a lot of different opinions on a subject faster than posting on AT, or to get advice from several perspectives. its the best way i can think of currently.

so stop giving the guy a hard time. my girlfriend was missing for like 5 hours one time because she got lost. we talk several times per day because we are in college and it just works out like that. im not overly protective and i let her have her space all the time. but when i called a few times and couldnt get a hold of her, it kinda freaked me out because that was the first time in 3.9 years that she hadnt answered her phone or called me back over the course of 5 hours unless i knew she was unable to do so. its called caring about someone, and unless you have done it, you wouldnt know what it feels like to think the worst may have happened to someone you love. so back the F*** off this guy unless you have something useful to say.
