Sounds like the bitter mother hen who wants to blame all her problems on something. Husband not into you anymore? Society has a problem with porno.
You are wise.

That's the impression I got.Sounds like the bitter mother hen who wants to blame all her problems on something. Husband not into you anymore? Society has a problem with porno.
:sneaky: FixedIm going to bet that the author is fat and ugly.
A 2004 study published in Social Science Quarterly found that Internet users who had had an extramarital affair were 3.18 times more likely to have used online porn than Internet users who had not had an affair.
Nail. Head.
:hmm:
and this completely doesn't show that the men weren't getting "satisfaction" at home... 🙄
PS. in before correlation doesn't imply causation
How does this have anything to do with porn? The entire thing is an absurd argument.
yeah its the porn and not the fact that she is now 75 lbs heavier than when they married.
quote:
The findings of the report hit particularly close to home for me. By his own account, my husband of 13 years and high-school sweetheart, was first exposed to pornography around age ten. He viewed it regularly during high school and college and, although he tried hard to stop, continued to do so throughout the course of our marriage. For the past few years he had taken to sleeping in the basement, distancing himself from me, emotionally and physically. Recently he began to reject my sexual advances outright, claiming he just didnt feel love for me like he used to, and lamenting that he thought of me more as the mother of our children than as a sexual partner.

Not really. His sexual expectations could have changed because of what he perceived as the way sex was supposed to be. All the porn starlets take it in the arse, have clean shaven snatches, no stretch marks, big silicone boobies, etc, etc. Eventually he may become desensitized to normal sex.
There's always amateur video out there. :sneaky:Not really. His sexual expectations could have changed because of what he perceived as the way sex was supposed to be. He's been using it since he was ten. His expectations didn't change. She did.
I'd probably hide from her in the basement too.
Problem is, we can't do a quantum divergent multiverse who-knows-what thing, where we could see multiple parallel realities: One where there was no Internet, or no porn, or something like that, vs this one.Like or hate porn, there are those that have problems with it. Especially in the military. I've seen marriages dissolve over the virtual "other woman."
