First, upgrade your drivers to the latest from nvidia.

Second, try stock clock speeds on your CPU to make sure it's not causing it.
Third, your CPU or GPU might be overheating so open your case to allow more air to cool your video card.
If all three of these fail to fix it, you might have some faulty component.
Well regarding the first I'm reinstalling the drivers now and see how will it work after.
Regarding the heat, I have an ARMOR Thermaltake case that provides quite good cooling inside, I mean my CPU is not getting hotter the 45C and the GPU is mostly getting arround 69C. So considering the high temperaturs at which these things are designed to work I don't think overheating is the problem.
Plus since I have a double boot on my rig, Vista and XP, I've noticed that the actuall freezing is happening more when playing in Vista, so probably the issue is related to the drivers or the OS.
Anyone having an EVGA 680i LT SLI motherboard experiencing freezing during gameplay? Maybe there is smth between EVGA 680i drivers and Vista?
In any case thanks to those who replied. If any other ideas pls do write.
