I gotta say that every time I look at the pics and specs for this phone I start to sprout some wood -- is this normal?

I'm sort of interested in it as the hardware specs are sweet, but I still don't want to switch to Android from WebOS. More rumors recently of a new Palm device hitting in a few months so I may hold out for that.
Really? Got a link? I'd love WebOS on the EVO/HD2 with a proper virtual keyboard (as opposed to the patch available through preware).
I wonder if HTC would make a sort of senseUI for WebOS (weather widget on the home page would be awesome).
You think so? I recall that it went up before the Pre, but it didn't last.Buy sprint stock. It should run up in anticipation of its release.
The problem with the Pre was that it was badly marketed. The hardware isn't spectacular either. But the OS design is miles above anything out right now. Its so seemless and easy to use. That's because Pre was a disappointment mostly. I think it's pretty obvious the evo won't be

Now the Evo won't be marketed poorly, has a line of good HTC predecessors to get it attention, has great hardware, and an Os that many would agree is even better than WebOS (although admittedly I've used neither), so it should do great things for sprint
I'm not sure I've ever heard someone argue Android + HTC SenseUI is a better than WebOS. I've used both extensively and WebOS is far ahead in terms of ease of use, multitasking, etc.. The hardware of Evo though is obviously far better than the Pre, but I'm hoping the Palm "C40" changes that as well.
I've heard several people on this forum specifically say that android + sense 2.1 is duobtless the best mobile OS out there, but who knows, they may be mistaken. I know I can't make a judgement

Ok, well, to clarify, yes, Sense is probably the best implementation of Android, but for people that have used both it and WebOS, I'd say almost all would prefer WebOS. (not anything to do with hardware, just from a pure OS standpoint)
I have used both Android and WebOS extensively and I prefer Android. I simply cannot live without a homescreen. Now if WebOS would implement a homescreen with their multitasking they would have a winner. The ridiculous sluggishness of the OS doesn't help matters any.
