How much he set you back?

I'm not too fond of corgi's only b/c a friend of mine had one and she was a complete nightmare...barking, peeing, ripping shit up, etc. Gave me the impression that corgi's are annoying and sucky.

Cute dog though.

I wouldn't say so. They were pretty popular before, too. Queen Elizabeth II had a bunch of them and I think that was when they really became popular.

They're originally meant for herding, so they're smart, energetic dogs. You can't expect to keep them couped up like toy dogs. You pretty much have to treat them like a bigger dog like a lab or collie. They'll get destructive if you don't keep them physically and mentally occupied.

yes. the mother is the traditional brown/white but the father is a tri-color (black, brown, white), however they look more like the mother in color.

They do have some dark brown/black-ish fur on them, but I've read that most Corgi puppies have that and it goes away when they get older. Since their father was a tri-color, not sure if the black will stick around or not.

Yea my first thought was a Corgi, they're pretty awesome dogs. Watch out for the shedding though.

My neighbour had one so I can attest to this. They never walked it. Just threw it out back when they went to work. Thing would yap all day long starting at 6am every morning. Don't think it was properly trained either. Training is a huge thing if you're a new dog owner. Will save you a lot of headaches.

he and his brothers and sisters just finished playing around with me and the owners and each other for about 30 minutes or more. They were all pooped and sleeping on the porch. ^_^

He picked me really, he was hanging around me a lot and kept coming over to me whereas the others didn't so much. when he went to go to sleep, he laid down near where I was standing. I held him for awhile and he didn't fuss (before he got sleepy).
The owner even commented that he seemed to like me.
