Cos my budget is 60k SGD, which works out to about 500$ a month on a 10 year loan (at 3% interest).
At 60k, over here, that can get me a Kia Cerato, various Hyundai models, Mitsubishi Lancer, Nissan Sunny (think its called Sentra in the US?)....

10 year loan? I hope you don't expect the Lancer to work for that long.

Well... seeing as how I live in Singapore, and an EVO here costs $160k SGD (about $100k USD) while the ordinary Lancer costs $60k SGD (or about $35k USD).... I think that's good enough reason.![]()
