You obviously havent seen my picture below. Not many people want to mess with me uless they are drunk and "think" they can take me down. Even disabled I would fvck someone up and now I got me a cane to mess a person up even more :)

Gun > Cane
that being said it isn't likely that anyone will think to rob you unless they see you leave the bnk with all that loot, or know you're getting it. just be careful. there is little recourse for stolen money. and safe deposit boxes are pretty cheap. bk acct even cheaper.

Reading comprehension is apparently not your friend :)

Neither is it yours. I covered the possibility of him not having a bank account by suggesting he look up the bank's routing number online. I guess I assumed wrongly when I assumed he was smart enough to call the bank and find local locations. :p

I always assumed that a Lifer was smart and been around enough to read a thread to get where he/she is in thier post count but you keep proving me wrong.

If you had JUST READ THE POST you wouldnt of ASSumed anything because you woruld of READ I dont have the check it is going to be here tomorrow. You also would of READ several times me telling you that if you had READ that I asked what the banks name was and was told it was UMBNA. If you had READ you would of seen that I didnt know about the routing number when they had called and now that I do know when I get the check in hand tomorrow I will be doing what other people aready mentioned BEFORE you made your smartass comments towards me. PLEASE STOP POSTING or atleast READ what has already been written before making further comments.

You really need to stop assuming because you made a assouta yourself :p

Jesus Christ, kid; calm down. Just a little ribbing.

3. You are under the assumption that Umb or whatever they are is just going to cash this fat check for you no questions asked. I bet they don't. Is this an insurance check? cause that is a red flag as well.

1&2 I am still going to go to other banks nearby and try to open just for the heck of it.
3. Why you say that. When my dad died I went and cashed a $10k check and I was only 20 years old and got cashed no problems. All you need is three pieces of ID which I have. So there shouldnt be a problem if I figure out what bank and go there.

Well guess what its mine and I am playing tug of war with my dog with it :D

This is what I get when I assume other people think outside the box instead of insist on someone else holding their hand every step of the way. Newsflash: I'm harsh and vulgar but don't take me seriously.

NEWSFLASH: I dont know you from Adam. When some one just ripps on me am I to assume they're a dickhead like you and rip on people on purpose? Just try to be nice for once you may like it and have more friends here. If this is how you act with all your thread comments you suck. Since I dont know you it would be like you walkign up to me at the bar and calling me a dick. Do you think I would assume then? No I would kick your ass. But since you hide behind your enormus e-penis and your computer it gives you the right to be an ass and it doesnt. Then when your being an ass and it back fires because you didnt read you get all defensive and your e-penise goes back up in your body and now your trying to inflate it back up. Give up you lost your wiener. No getting it back for awhile now.
Again if you had just read my thread before posting :disgust:

Maybe someday you will find out your e-penis is not bigger then everyone elses and you can act like a real human being. Again if you had just read my thread before posting :disgust:

Newsflash: someone ripping on you is still someone ripping on you ON THE INTERNET.

omg have a cow!

Now, back to the issue at hand. Don't you have a checking account? ;) :p

Patriot Act is the biggest. Second, three pieces of ID means squat. Third, if it is over $10,000 a form (called a CTR) will be sent to the government. Which area of the government, that I don't know but you do get flagged which means they will try to trace where that money is going to. While it isn't illegal it is getting pretty damn close to being illegal to carry large amounts of cash because they are afraid of criminal and terrorist activities.

The CTR will go to the IRS. It will not mean a thing, he will not get flagged, nobody will come to his house (from the govt anyway), and nobody will try and trace the source of the money.

AH the kingwood. But just because I can afford more better things doesnt mean I have to. I am still going to get thoes speakers and stereo for the van. May move up to the beter one for $30 more really not sure though. Its all going in a 92 G20 van and I dont drive it that often just my wife and she wouldnt know quality sound if it bit her on her arse.

I need to watch my p's and q's with the cash I am getting. Especially the next check. It is what is going to have to keep us afloat for the rest of my life atleast.

Is this a settlement related to your back injury? Glad to see you're having some good luck for a change.

Seriously. OFAC and related is a joke. sure the patriot act set up all this extra red tape, but they didn't bother to drop the extra money to pay anybody to actually give a crap. they write regulations for companies to follow. but then when companies provide the info it sits in a gov't computer and that's about it.

Well this check isnt near that much for me to worry that much about it and when the next one comes let the feds come my way. I did nothing wrong or have anything to hide. I have PLENTY of paperwork to back my situation up if need to. So if they come the come, bring it on. Besides who would complain that the feds came because they "had" too much money :p
ID be happy they were called because then I have alot of money :D
