The meteors are starting to appear! I've been seeing 1 or 2 a minute but it's definately speeding up. Be sure to look all over the sky, these that I've seen are spread out all over the sky.
So get outside and check it out, it's the most amazing thing I've ever seen.

STUPID FOG!!!!!!!!!!! it's not even a mild blanket... it's this thick ass S- you need to cut with a set of shears...

I was outside about 45 mins ago.. saw 20-30 very nice meteors. One left a huge trail that stayed for several seconds.... was quite cool

The peak here in MN is supposed to be around 4am, so I'm heading out shortly. I can go for about a 5 minute drive and be in the country where I won't have city lights to contend with.

I don't see anything... are they like straight up or do you have to look more into the horizon? I know you're supposed to look east, but at what angle? There are a lot of tree around here, but I can still see a lot of sky... lotsa pretty stars, but that's it...

nothing with a tale or shooting....but they are in the east direction...

You never saw a shooting star before ?
It looks like a very fast streak of light shooting across the sky,You must be still and be patient !
Do not focus on one spot,just look at the whole sky.
