yea well, thats because we are personifying the rat. i had no otehr way of putting it, but imagine being relentlessly pulled by your arm with a sharp eged piece of metal by your hand, from underneath a car.

besides, you didnt answer my q about the eminem cds, did you hurt animals with them?
 
no no, i microwaved it, ran over it with my car, shot it, cleaned my BBQ grill with it, picked up dog poop with it. stuff like that..

basically i think its garbage
as a matter of fact, I chucked limp bizkits new cd out the window the day after xmas, what a hunk of crap that is.

I don't mind cursing one bit, but when the whole song rotates around the word f*ck, and tries to make that the "hook", its just pure trash

did you have any guilt when you saw the rat helpless in the drawer? how about now looking back at it?
 
You should check out Office Depot more often. Last time they have a desk set called The Arc (cost around $2000) and sell it for $200. It was a L shape desk with seperate drawer and a lot of desk space. Too bad, I just moved into a studio and no place for it. They usually have this kind of clearnance once a while.

Anyone with the $75 OM desk:
is it sturdy high quality? I mean right now I have a door on 2 file cabinets which is sturdy as hell, but This desk would definitely be more pleasing to the eye. Sturdy or no?

i have no guilt at all, in fact next time i would probably torture him a bit. He trashed my couch in more places than the picture shows, ate my tile and my phone line.
He is a filthy, dirty, disease carrying, property destroying rat, and he deserved to die, just like every other non-pet rat out there.
 
This might be a hot deal, except that it is just for the L-shaped desk, without any accessories. I'd call this a warm deal at best. If you can get the hutch, cart, and other items for $100 or less, then yeah, that is a HOT deal.

Anyhow, this is a tremendous deal, as I personally can't see a use for the other junk (little shelf thing, drawers), but 75 shipped for a LARGE, quality-"wooded" desk is great. Too bad I just missed out on it (The IR is gone now, I don't want to pay $125 🙂

Anyone know if and when the IR will be back?
 
I ordered two at $80 bucks each and received both of them. Mine said Backordered when I bought it but, I still received them.

This is a good deal, to be sure. However, I wouldn't get this desk because of the tiny damn keyboard drawer. The mouse is now on a different plane then the keyboard and that is just asking for RSI. It looks like the manufacturer valued looks and compactness over ergonomics.
 
OfficeMax now has a Bush Fusion Manor Maple "L" Workcenter desk in stock, which you can get for the same price with the above deal. You'll find the desk on their Home Page (it's there now).
BTW, did anybody receive the desk from OfficeMax already?
 
For those who want to get the O'Sullivan Fundamental "L" workcenter, it's time now. OfficeMax has this desk on sale for $99 at B&M (this week's ads). Too bad can not combine with the $20 off $100. I wonder if their online store will lower the price tomorrow.
