So what the guy was doing was perfectly fine from a legal pov? This isn't about US law, it's state law. The new law in GA allows permitless carry in most public places.

It's having the ski mask and the guns together, that particularly raises alarm bells for me.I mean yeah.
It's not the four hand guns, the shot gun or the AR that's worrying.
It's the knitted headwear.
Americans be crazy.

Ok.No, this incident was years ago, the new law just began.
It the going shopping with four loaded handguns strapped to him and two loaded long guns that raises the alarm to me!It's having the ski mask and the guns together, that particularly raises alarm bells for me.
One loaded AR-15 is too much for meIt the going shopping with four loaded handguns strapped to him and two loaded long guns that raises the alarm to me!
Ok.
If someone was doing the exact same thing today that he did years ago would it be perfectly fine from a legal pov?
That is next battle ground for these nutters. Businesses in Oklahoma already can't ban guns from their parking lots. I think some of our idiot legislators introduced a bill last year to make it illegal for businesses to disallow carrying in their buildings.Publix is a private company so I believe they can say no firearms allowed.
So gun rights trump all private property rights. NiceThat is next battle ground for these nutters. Businesses in Oklahoma already can't ban guns from their parking lots. Nothing to do with US law, but the laws of individual states.I'm not up on US law. Is the new legislation more or less liberal on open carry?
Publix "requested" customers not to bring firearms into the store despite the open carry law. They don't want the standoff from 2A nutbags when they are stopped at the door.Publix is a private company so I believe they can say no firearms allowed.

GA law doesn't prevent businesses from banning firearms but how do you enforce? Soon as some moron tries to enter with his AR-15 a standoff ensues. How is that not an immediate lawsuit from the property owner??? We're a stupid fucking country.

They don't generally allow loaded guns. At least not at any of the speeches.Like I keep saying, I want a mass shooting at a NRA conference. Let’s see once it directly affects them if they change their minds.
I also don't see gun shows allowing open carrying of firearms.Like I keep saying, I want a mass shooting at a NRA conference. Let’s see once it directly affects them if they change their minds.
Not inside but the parking lots are large. This happened here last weekend.I also don't see gun shows allowing open carrying of firearms.
