I actually do feel sorry for him. I have no doubt he would rather none of this had ever happened. Zimmerman has certainly acted stupidly since being acquitted, but I don't think he was ever the sharpest tool in the shed in the first place.

While I can second-guess his own choices somewhat in hindsight, the person principally responsible for the death of Trayvon Martin is Trayvon Martin. Despite this, Zimmerman continues to be vilified by people who bought the media's false portrayal of this case hook, line and sinker.

Nice to see you posting again DVC, the forum has desperately missed your common sense and legal wisdom.

^ Hook, line, and sinker.

Looks like the American psyche in fully display. We are driven by partisan party politics and their media. The hook, line, and sinker were driven into us years ago. The media narrative and our reaction to the trial was just one more program fed to us. There are many others.

I knew Zimmerman wouldn't fight.

Because they won't let him take his gun into the ring.

I couldn't have put it better, that's exactly how I feel about this guy.

What clued me in was knowing his predicament with the death threats. Not just a couple death threats, I'm sure he's been getting them non stop and from all parts of the country.

In his shoes why in hell would you willingly give everyone a date and location where you're going to appear in person? Fighting a crackhead doesn't even enter in to it, sorry Warren.

Couldn't have put it better.

I thought he was suing the tv station, MOM was representing him for free, book rights, etc. Truth is he picked fight with 150 scrawny kid, who whopped his ass. Then like a bitch, he shot the kid. In the end no one gives damn about this child killer and only messed up loop hole laws allowed him to walk free.
And, which loop hole laws would those be? Hook line & sinker.

it wouldn't surprise me.

let's assume for the sake of argument that zimmerman's version of the events are correct.

you defend yourself, and now every media outlet in the entire country villifies you. you're practically public enemy #1.

yeah, i can see someone getting real messed up from that. it's a tragedy all around.

I don't feel very sorry for him at all, because it's rather likely that if he followed the advice of some LEOs in regards to neighborhood watch and didn't carry while watching that he wouldn't have gotten out of the car in the first place.

I'm sure he wasn't thinking of the shit storm he'd create by doing what he did.

He wasn't thinking when that night and he hasn't done much sound thinking judging by his mishaps made public after the end of the trial. His attorney pretty much didn't like some of the things he chose to do either.

“We certainly would not have advised him to go to the factory that made the gun that he used to shoot Trayvon Martin through the heart,” Shawn Vincent, a spokesman for attorney Mark O’Mara, told Yahoo News.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...rcation-estranged-wife-used-file-charges.html
Mark O'Mara, who represented Zimmerman when he was acquitted of murder in the death of Trayvon Martin, made his shock announcement that he would be leaving his client as police continued their investigation into the warring couple.

I just thought of a great idea. He could do a gay porn movie with a black man to prove that he is truly unbiased. Imma sure he could get at least a 100k for a movie like that.

How would you know this? Unless ...

What is most sad about how our news is represented, black on white crime is mostly ignored. While any sense of white on black crime is sensationalized.

Mona Yvette Nelson (a black woman) used a blow torch to kill a white boy. But this story was pretty much ignored by major media.

http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/local&id=9220368

Stories like that go on and on. But for some reason George Zimmerman is demonized for self-defense?

The news needs to stop with racial profiling and do its real job, and that is to report the news.

Let just say that particular adventure is no longer on my bucket list. You can draw your own conclusions from that.....

Regarding George.... I have to wonder if is gonna use PTSD to get lifetime SS disability payments. Can you imagine that, getting paid by the government for the rest of your life for the fine achievement of gunning down and innocent black kid. It is amusing that he has PTSD not from killing an innocent kid but from the state attempting to hold him accountable for his actions.

Why shouldn't he get his, everybody else does.

Also, said black kid was innocent until he assaulted Zimmerman. Try to remember that, I know its hard for you. Maybe write it on your body a la Memento?

There are people in ATOT that would bang GZ. You know the ones who love jerking off to stories of young black men being killed.

awwwe...the poor baby. Guess shooting the evil black man didn't solve all of his problems?

Who would have thought there would be moral consequences beyond the law?

I hope every second of his life is spent in fear.
