I understand this AI thing is still catching up to most of you guys
In terms of this sub, PN, think of Grok like a 10.000 times "Cambridge Analytica" modifier.

But hey, consider the proposition that "They only have to win once", then anyone with a firm grasp on a 4th graders math curriculum understands that democracy was a fluke, it was never going to last, and in terms of overlords we COULD have done worse... Hell we could have gotten Taliban Jesus... Instead we got a little apartheid, rockets selvdriving cars and a technocracy. Suck it up. Could be worse. Plus Im white, so I got that going for me.

Slap on those "resist" bumper stickers, I guess.
Slapping on "resist" bumper stickers does exactly what I specifically said not to do, which is make yourself an unnecessary target. Like I literally said it in my second sentence. You literally quoted it.

All that said, since you said kissing the ring is "probably" for the best, you should go buy some Trump merch to plaster onto the front of your house. Lie low and let "whatever" happen. Just don't pretend to be against fascism, because you're not. You're against being inconvenienced.

Whatever is safest.

It's more like retreat to the next logical inflection point. There is little reason to expend energy pounding sand.

Or maybe you pick the fights you can actually win?

I bet Bashar al Assad wishes more Syrians were like you. That would be the appropriate mindset for Ukrainians if you asked Putin too. Look to Germany and Ukraine for examples of worse that didn't roll over. I can give you more if you need them.

Don't worry, be it old age, poor health outcomes, infectious diseases or a successful assassin, this traitor won't be around for much longer and already has a civil war within his ranks.

I think its safe to say that NATO is dead.

Pulling the US out of NATO, I guess this was one way to do it.

The Alliance is dead. Congrats Putin.

I would think this is his way of justifying for the paste eaters pulling out of nato

That’s what I want in the most powerful leader of the free world

As gotnoeggs laughs. He is supporting someone with the mentality of a socially deficient hormonal teenager

Good job … it speaks volumes on your depth of character

Whatever the victors say.

It's a catchy theme, sure, it just doesn't apply as much to the 21st century as it did before.

You'll notice that regardless of what the CCP wants, the rest of the world is fully aware of events like the Tienanmen Square massacre, likewise for the CCP's effort to deplete the Uighur population, stamp their culture out of existence.

Fwiw, I'm more worried of them burning books than printing ones that no one takes seriously.

Hundreds of millions of people worldwide live under some sort of authoritarian government. Maybe even in the billions.

It doesn't mean every waking moment of their lives is filled with horror. They go to work, raise and love their families, spend time with their friends, etc.

That's just hyperbole attempting to normalize authoritarianism. I don't think you understand how bad it is in places like China, Russia, Cambodia, Iran, North Korea or Myanmar.

Maybe instead of speaking for them, you should ask a North Korean defector why he or she risked death to escape, why they left the love of their families or that hangout time with friends. Know any Kurds? Rohindra?

The US is not, and never will be Iran, NK, etc.

Who's higher on your go fuck yourself list, @gothuevos or yours truly?
You're not on it, you just need to settle down and take a deep breath sometimes. You're not advocating that we just accept that we're going to get raped and that we might as well try and enjoy it.

That's not what was said, and you know it.

A lot of the world lives under an oppressive government. But many people find a way to survive, live their lives, even thrive. We will too. We will have to.

Whatever dark interpretation you took from that is on you, not me. And I say this as someone who plans to carry my passport and copy of birth certificate with me at all times, moving forward.
