It's more convenient for both the corporations as well as the schools and students. They also make a point of picking kids with very varied backgrounds, much like medical schools do with respect to admissions. Wall street has actually been ahead of the curve as far as removing that "White guys first" stereotype that's been plaguing the upper echelons of our nation. You'll hear on Wall street that the only skin color is green. If you've got problems with minorities and women then you'll either have to deal with it or find a new line of work.
