Geforce4 Ti 4600 at Best Buy BM $179 ??

I don't know if this is the place for this but here goes. I've seen notes that some people may have rainchecks from the Best Buys B&M, $179 for the Geforce4 Ti 4600 card. If you have one please post it. Some stores are saying this would be proof and you could pick up a raincheck for this price. Help us all out. 🙂

Homer, here's your explanation: Best Buy was advertising it for that price on their web site for a few hours. It was a MISTAKE. Within those few hours, they were flooded by AT'ers and others with orders. That's probably where all the rainchecks came from - people saw it online, and got the rainchecks from the B&M stores.

I believe BB decided NOT to give the card away at that price. It's caused quite a controversy (especially in this forum). Many topics have been locked over this issue.

In other words, this deal is effectively DEAD. Don't even bother trying to take advantage of this.

Come on lighten up guys don't be so pissed it's not like you lost 180 dollars heh just maybe 2 or 3 hours of your time. But that is what makes Hot Deals fun right? kinda like gambling
 
Gotta laugh at all of this.....over a video card that in 4 months will be cheaper than the "mistake" price anyway..... 🙂
