Geforce4 Ti 4600 at Best Buy BM $179 ??

I don't know if this is the place for this but here goes. I've seen notes that some people may have rainchecks from the Best Buys B&M, $179 for the Geforce4 Ti 4600 card. If you have one please post it. Some stores are saying this would be proof and you could pick up a raincheck for this price. Help us all out.

C'mon guys, let's let this one die.

Homer, here's your explanation: Best Buy was advertising it for that price on their web site for a few hours. It was a MISTAKE. Within those few hours, they were flooded by AT'ers and others with orders. That's probably where all the rainchecks came from - people saw it online, and got the rainchecks from the B&M stores.

I believe BB decided NOT to give the card away at that price. It's caused quite a controversy (especially in this forum). Many topics have been locked over this issue.

In other words, this deal is effectively DEAD. Don't even bother trying to take advantage of this.
