Better to get the PNY GeForce 3 ti200 at newegg for a couple of dollars more and get the lifetime warrenty, and no rebate worries.
But I agree the christamas deal was better, as long as you get the rebate.

<< And BB rebates have always come through for me. Quickly, too. >>

FYI - Rebate is a MFR rebate and not BB. New Rochelle is the processing company so you can count on a minimum 3 month wait at least. They (New Rochelle) still have not paid any $50 rebate from the 11/23 promo. Most who purchased dugring that deal have estimated check dates in February.

For you non-AMEX Blue ppl:

Pricing Policies

In-Store Price Guarantee
If, within 30 days (14 days for computers, monitors, printers and notebooks, camcorders, digital cameras and radar detectors) of your purchase from Best Buy, you find a local competitor offering a lower price on an available product of the same brand and model, we'll refund the difference plus another 10% of the difference. Bring us verification of the lower price, plus your original Best Buy receipt to claim your refund. Does not apply to special, bonus or free offers, and in California cellular phones and pagers. Does not apply to products with special financing offers. For complete price guarantee details, please see a customer service representative. We reserve the right to limit quantities. See store for complete details.

Online Price Guarantee
At this time we do not have a price match guarantee. However, if you purchase an item online or at an in-store kiosk and choose in-store pick up, and the item is offered at a lower price when you pick it up, you will be charged the lower price.

Will BestBuy honor this if you bring in a printout of Microtech's price??? If they honor it this deal will be even HOTTER because of the extra 10% off!!! So you could order it online, do an in-store pickup, bring the printout of Microtech's page in and see if they PM it right at BestBuy!! Anybody know if this would work!??

I asked because "Get Real" said it was a Manfacturer rebate NOT a BB rebate. If he knows something about this he could really help us out!

yea this is kinda questionable... here's what the Terms and Co. say:
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Limit of one rebate per household or address. Requests from P.O. Boxes, groups, or organizations, will not be honored or acknowledged. Offer void where prohibited by law. Rebates are paid in U.S. funds. Best Buy and their fulfillment companies are not responsible for late, lost, mutilated, misdirected or postage-due requests. Use of fictitious names or addresses could result in federal prosecution for U.S. Mail Fraud. Make a photocopy of all materials submitted for your records. BB22960

YOU SHOULD RECEIVE YOUR REBATE WITHIN 8 WEEKS.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR WISH TO CHECK ON THE STATUS OF YOUR REBATE, PLEASE CALL 1-800-390-2344

OR CALL THE BEST BUY REBATE CENTER AT 1-888-797-3956.

kevman,
I think the Hard OCP Forums has a guy who is compiling a list of all GF3 cards and their average overclockability (did I just make a new word?). If I find the exact posting I'll come back here and edit this post.
