<< I'm with you guys- seems like a pretty kick butt card for around 100, so I jumped on it ... then got home to notice the pricematch site bumped their price.
I knew I should have PDF'ed that web page on Monday...
Anyone got a copy they can send or post with the price still at $149? Thanks!
>>

I have a hard copy of it I can fax out to ppl. Let me know, At this point It won't make a difference though, I think AMEX will verify the price by going to micro's website anyway.

Kevman,

Does your hard copy have a date on it? If so, then it should work- as long as it's "within 60 days of original purchase date"... If it's got a date and you want to fax it- you can fax to 509-694-1866

or to save the phone call- e-mail is cool too...

Thanks! :)

That is very weird.

I can't quite explain why it works this way but try this link and then proceed to their store and go to the video card section....sure enough it now shows as $153. You must have to go through this pricewatch page and it probably gives you a cookie or something...don't know how else to explain it.

EDIT: Damn. I just tried doing exactly what I said and it now shows as $170. Five minutes earlier and it showed $153. I give up.

That's probably a good Idea. Can you get a BVG on something that you already got it on if the price goes down even more?

Yeah- I think I'll go ahead and install the card and send in the rebate form. I think you guys are probably right-- within 60 days I'm sure there will be a significant price drop from the $199 original price at Best Buy.

Thanks for the help kevman and others... :)

kevman,
Yes, you can do multiple BVG's on the same item, I think it must be a difference of at least $10 each time.

Matt,
You shouldn't lose the rebate so long as it is post marked by the expiration date. Since Amex doesn't look at MIR's then you have 60 more days to wait for the price to fall before price matching the $199 price. What's good is that it has already (temporarily) been as low as $149 so there is a good chance we'll find it in the $125 range or less a little after the GF4 comes out. Just my opinion.
