Its a given it will be hot and loud. Its got too many transistors making it good for HPC to be an efficient gaming card, and the price. But still it will be the fastest single card despite its drawbacks and that is ultimately what a buyer of this card is looking for.

So it's OK not to buy their hardware as long as you don't say anything bad about them publicly. What fanboy idiot logic...

I thought it was pretty simple. That was an anticipation of arguments AMD fans will pose against Titan after launch.
Titan will be a big hungry die, and folks like you might like to exploit that fact.
I can understand your antagonistic response above because the wind is already been taken out of your sails and that can be frustrating.
Pretty simple, no?

Whoever exchanges 2 680s for 1 Titan is downgrading. Unless the Titan will be as fast or faster than 2 680s, but I doubt it :)
I really can't wait for the reviews!

"downgrading" is a funny word to use as desciption of geting rid of microstutter, profiles and other multi-GPU quirks...

People with 2x 680's or 670's really won't have a need for Titan. But that may not stop them from going for the Single or dual Titan solution. Who knows where it will perform, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be decent.

Nah, as multi GPU goes, Nvidia has it down pretty well. Yes, there is inherently more microstutter than a single GPU solution. At least that is usually the case.
SLI has been very good to me in performance and compatability. I don't play every game under the sun, so I may have missed a quirk or two as you describe.

Imho,

I'm so glad gamers try to discuss subjects that go beyond just frame rate. Gaming experiences are so much more than just frame rate!

Well, you should really save these comments for after the official reviews. We really have no idea where it will land in terms of performance. We can spec, but it's only extrapolated guessing.

This applies to the whole thread then.

Nothing is carved in stone yet, thanks for pointing it out!

I have 2 680s and the only SLI scaling issues I came across were in Far Cry 3 and Hitman.

Do you even know what AFR and micro-stutter are?
And drop the:
"I didn't see anything..."

It's invalid, retarded....and useless.
Just because you cannot percieve it...dosn't mean it isn't there.

No matter how frames are distributed, 70 fps will always feel smoother and more responsive than 40.

Nope, you can't be sure of that. fps isn't a completely reliable metric for AFR performance. Heck, even single GPU as Lonbjerg pointed out.

Sure. Just refrain from using descriptors such as "is" or "can" or "does". Etc.
The descriptors like "might", "could", even "should" are golden.

You know what I mean.

Oh dude. You just lost. You may have missed it being a new reg, but this entire forum was recently ablaze showing exactly the opposite of what you just said.
Search for any Tech Report threads and enlighten yourself before posting anything like this again. Just a suggestion. /peace.

LoL, I do know what AFR and microstuttering are.

I've never said "I didn't see anything", but let me make it clearer for you: there was no microstutter and scaling was 90%. Happy?

I suggest you to calm down and to avoid defining people's posts as "retarded". That will take you a long way.

Well, you know what I mean too. It's obvious that everything people say about something that's not realeased yet is just speculation.

But let's just agree to disagree and leave it at that.

So you registered to troll then. Ok. You're not interested in increasing your knowledge about this subject. That much is clear. Troll on, I don't think anyone else will feed you from this point on. Right Lonbjerg? hint hint.
