My last 4 cards have been BFG. Lifetime warranty. I have only had to use it once. The only problem is that they would only send out a new one when the old one was received. I upgraded, sent the broken card in and got a brand new one back a couple weeks later. They have stellar customer service (IMHO).

Also, WTF is up with no availability for this long? Anyone heard anything?
 
Just came back from a local Frys, one in Anaheim. They had 4 of regular eVGA at $269 on the shelf. When I got out of the store, there were 3 left.😛

Does anyone know if BB will credit you the full $30 difference if you paid $279.99 and used a 10% off coupon bringing the original net price to $252 (since there are no coupons involved in the new price), or would they take the original net price and only refund $2?

The 10% coupon won't work as video cards aren't a listed item. Having a hell of a time right now trying to find a copy of the current 12% coupon to use.

The 10% coupon won't work as video cards aren't a listed item. Having a hell of a time right now trying to find a copy of the current 12% coupon to use.

Anyone think that BB will be getting in more 8800gts since they are posting the deal? Everwhere in MA, CT, RI and NH is oos right now, at least according to their site...

One of the 10% coupons I received (in additon to the 12% coupon) says "graphic and sound cards"). Also says "Markdowns taken from regular prices", though my experience has been they don't enforce that.

Do you have a link for a current one? Every coupon I've seen that hasn't expired yet is much more limited in available items.

I don't think the stores have restocked since they first sold out a week or so ago. You can virtually go across the US putting in zipcodes and getting empty stores. They probably had an internal memo put out to save remaining on hand and future shipments for this sale.
 
BB's "in-stock" listing has proven to be very unreliable in my area, always showing that neither store has any in stock, but I have seen several on the shelves. I finally pulled the trigger on the last one yesterday with the 12% off card.

No, sorry, I received a hard copy of 3 coupons in the mail.

My local store had one (BFG 8800GT OC) in stock this morning (I checked early online, the website had said zero). It was on a shelf by the service desk, not back with the video cards. The salesperson working near the video card shelf said they had one in stock, but couldn't find it. Luckily, I noticed the card by the service desk as I was walking out the store. The 12% coupon worked, I got it for $220 plus tax.

Got to the Princeton NJ Best Buy this morning at 10:25 (25 mins after open) and they had sold out the 3 BFGs they had left...15 mins before I got there :|

No stock at all at the Oxford Valley PA BB either.

Oh well, better luck next time.

Better than I did. Southern Michigan/Northern Ohio didn't have any in stock anywhere, yet they still advertised the damned things.

I ordered it from the site for $249 with free shipping plus tax. I want to at least get one for my build before christmas. 🙁 Edit: course, it's backordered
 
I just went up to best buy near oxford valley (PA) and of course none in stock. They told me they have some in King of Prussia, which is where im heading now.
 
Ok I just ordered mine online....It let me order it and everything. charged my card....Am I missing something or why isn't anyone doing it this way. Ohh and also FREE Shipping $249.99 + tax.
