no it will void your warranty but ive never heard of any probs doing it. A lot of people did this flash a LONG time ago, but it's up to you, I'm just giving you my opinion that I did it with no problems. I think he sets the bios to 1.1 in 2d and 1.4 in 3d so your card is downclocked when not playing games. Why do you want 1.5 volts?

i dunno i heard thats what it was supposed to be at. Well not supposed to be at but for better overclocking. http://www.i-hacked.com/content/view/74/62 overclocked 425x1100 with 1.5v, i also read in forums that if you increase voltage it will oc better

I think 1.5 is too high, 1.4 is best for overclocking and safe-factor

Wow, a whole .7 fps increase in Doom3 and .4 increase in Aquamark? Thats some serious performance enhancements!

dont be a smart ass i was just wondering what program i would use, not saying i would, but i was curious thinking about it. And if the card were overclocked more than 425x1100, which most people would do more. It would perform alot better, anyways for future games every fps will count.
