I'm on act IV out of V, but even after Act II, I knew that this game has a polish that sets the standard for new shooters. Playing this game is like playing Halo for the first time on the XBOX: it's so much fun you can't stop.

Unfortunately school started and my time isn't as abundant as before. Hopefully I'll finish it by Friday and write a review on it. If the game keeps going the way it is, I'll probably give it an A. And that would be the first A I would give out. I hope the fun continues.

No offense (really) but you're about 2 months late on this :)

I found SP good (even better co-op), but I really enjoy MP.

While I agree that it's a great game, I wouldn't say that it sets the standard for FPS, as I don't think it is one. With the exception of the sniper rifle you never go into first person.

Multiplayer is fun too, especially if you like listening to 12 year olds talk smack and cry about how everyone sucks except them.

I haven't played it yet but would love to. I just hope your wrong about it being like playing Halo for the first time. Because I wasn't very impressed. But I do know Halo is a hit or miss for some(but most liked it).

Agreed that it is great, especially if you play it with a friend. Too bad there isn't enough story though. Hopefully there will be a GOW2 with more explanation.

Yeah that really rocks . Can I set my "zone" to something that maybe will filter out the tards?

I enjoy both SP and MP though SP is quite short. In order to get the most out of MP I think you need a group of 6 or more people you know. MP with people you know is great fun but at times very frustrating, especially in close quarters.

Yeah it's a fun game. I believe I've read that this is the first game of a trilogy, so expect GoW2 and GoW3. I played online a bit and most of the people playing seemed pretty cool, definitely not whiny 12 year olds. If you get with a group of players you can't stand though just enter another game. :)

Damn good game... but it's NOT a FPS. It's 3rd person, and quite obvious about it since you see yourself through the entire game.

Yeah, I messed up there. I changed it in the OP.

The Halo comment was an analogy. For most people, at least on the XBOX, Halo was so good, you couldn't stop playing. Many people, including myself, pulled all-nighters playing it.

R6:V is best multiplayer on Xbox right now. GoW is a great game, probably best graphics so far, but the multiplayer isn't half as good as R6:V and Army of Two will probably make it disappear into some greatest hits category.

Yes, 12 year olds gravitate toward zones such as "Underground" because they are highly 1337. Although, I am in Underground, because it best matched my play style via description .

I read on ign.com that there is a chance they may be no GOW for PC, not for sure though.

Has this been confirmed yet? I hear great things about the game, but can't justify a xbox360 just to try it out.

I dunno I haven't tried, sometimes it takes me a while to find a game that isn't full of idiots or with completely stacked teams.

But the kids are easy to pick out most of them can only grenade tag, so that's what they do.

Personally, I think tagging should be removed from the game completely it's so cheap.
