What is grenade tagging? I've played all the way through GoW and have no idea what you are talking about... but I haven't played any GoW multiplayer either (other than co-op).

you run up to an enemy, and press B and you will jam the grenade into your enemy's chest or head. You have to be within a certain range, though. And I think they decreased the range in the latest update so you have to get even closer.

there's no way to avoid blowing up at that point.

Yeah even though they made it so you have to get closer, it's still a guaranteed kill. The only real defense is a headshot with the shotgun from a few feet away.

Oh yeah, I know what you're talking about now. I knew you could do that, but never made use of it in single player. But wouldn't this be about the same as plasma grenades in Halo? Except in Halo you can throw the grenades pretty damn far.

If you play single player on hardcore or insane, the AI guys will tag you.

Yeah I suppose so, though if they had to throw it it would be a lot easier to dodge. I never played Halo online so I can't say for sure one way or the other.

I guess what irks me is that if you don't get a headshot, say you hit them in the chest and stun them, they can still tag you before you can get another shot off, if you initiate a chainsaw kill, they can still tag you.

Hmm... I've beaten GoW on both hardcore and insane and was never tagged once. Guess they never got close enough ;)

Yeah, they don't make a concerted effort but in the later stages they will try. It happens most often to your teammates.

I am working my way through insane now, though I tried RAAM on insane when I had my save point there and I'm convinced that I can't beat him, it was hard enough on hardcore.

I think it is easiest to beat him in co-op. There is a both a sniper rifle and a torque bow in the last car before the RAAM fight. Make sure one person has the sniper and one has the bow. The arrow explosion from the bow will cause the krill surrounding RAAM to scatter for a few seconds. So one person pops him with the bow and then when the krill scatter the other person hits him with the sniper. If you both hit most of your shots you can kill him before he even makes his way all the way to you.

I just completed it there. Ive heard the line " SERVEEE THE QUEEEEN!!!" so many friggin times its crazy. But i finally killed RAAM! This is kinda sad because the games on the easiest difficulty:p

Wonder what that voice meant at the end, the voice thats probably the queen. I think theyre fighting to get away from the kryll or somthing, not too sure. Or it could be somthing to do with them needing that stuff that looks like yellow lava.

Yeah that really rocks . Can I set my "zone" to something that maybe will filter out the tards?

If only they came out with an option that would analyze the voice patterns of other players, and when it detected that their balls hadn't dropped yet it automatically muted them. Then maybe I could turn voice back on in counterstrike as well.

Does that give them a -1 kill?

a $60 that only gives you like 8 hours of gameplay???? i think it is a good game none the less but they need to release a game that will last you a couple days

You misspelled "awesome" in your title :p

I've played a bit of it. Sadly, the TVs I played it on weren't that great (standard TV and HD tv that was too dark and poorly calibrated), so it really didn't scream AMAZING GRAPHICS to me. Then again, I've only seen a bit of the game. Knowing how Unreal Engine 3 looks, though, I know it's a very good looking game.

I didn't get to test multiplayer, but I've heard it's great. Single player was solid, but I wasn't amazed by it. I guess I expected it to be more like a FPS in 3rd person view, but it wasn't like that. It wasn't bad by any means though.

I'd really like to play through the game. Maybe it will give me a reason to hang out with my friends, eh? From what I played though, it's overrated. I'd give it a 8.5-9, but not 9.5 like I've been seeing. Great game (so far), but not nearly as amazing has Halo was when I first played it.

I never could kill RAAM. Torque bow + sniper rifle + grenades. Explosives to get rid of kryll, 20 headshots later, RAAM's still alive and pissed.

Yeah I tried that with a buddy of mine who has done it before, but I think he wasn't getting headshots with the sniper. When I go through the level again I'm going to be sure to be full on torque ammo.

On what difficulty? I beat him easily on casual... well it did take me a couple of tries because of the kryll. Basically, I just hid behind the thing and kept headshotting him while the krill were gone and then finished him off with a grenade.

If its on insane itll take 24 headshots i think. 16 for the medium difficulty, 8 for easy.

All it needs is to ignore the Kryll, stay behind light and most importantly have perfect reloading and aiming.. It will amaze you how quick you can beat him even on insane if you have perfect timing..
