Gay guys being overly flamboyant...

I always thought the flamboyant gay was an act being put out until I saw myself on video.

I am not gay, I am just European 🙁

Why is it that when I watch a DIY or Cooking show and there is a Gay guy on it as the guest or cook in a competition they really crank the flamboyant dial and act...well...Gay?

I wonder if these gay guys always peg the flamboyant meter in their normal lives and for some reason feel they need to act differently on TV because they are expected to?

I bet a lot of the people you see on these shows are gay, and you simply don't know it. You are simply commenting on the ones you notice.

It's like saying "Why, whenever I see a male on TV, they are cranking the douchenozzle factor to 11" after watching anything with Guy Fieri.

The same reason why a lot of the responses to a thread like this are to reply with extreme, hypersexualized gay sex jokes.

Get your laffs out, OP.

'Stereotypical' gays appear to be mimicking female affectations. It's a turn-off to me. I like my man because he's a man, without pretense.

Why can't I watch a football game without some roided out ape flexing after a touchdown? Seems a little overly aggressive to me. I wonder if they're like that in their everyday life.

That and the butt slapping in the tight pants were my mom's favorite part. 😀

:'(

I'll never forgive her for ruining football for me, but god I miss her. Fuck you, Cancer.

This right here. I just find it bizarre that so many gay dudes act like women, basically. Lisping all their S's, emphasis on all their D's, shaking their ass when they walk around, with all their damn fashion sense and nice shoes... you guys know what I mean, right? Don't you? :sneaky: Maybe my close proximity to Chicago's Boystown has tainted me.

I do enjoy that silly, extremely flamboyant Randy on Say Yes to the Dress (my wife forces me).

I think (and I could be tarred and flamingo feathered for this) it has to do with a fantasy of attracting a straight or recently 'changed' gay guy. I guess it works and differences attract.

But I also think we're all a broad spectrum of masculinity and femininity. Some are just further in one direction. I know of guys that I was surprised were straight, and gals who weren't. Who knows? "Nature is a mad scientist!" ~ Cosmo Kramer

You are just the living end.
