Not trying to demonize the stuff, but the whole idea of "it's not as bad as soda" is exactly why I want to bring all this up.
I've got pretty thin enamel, and my teeth used to get very sensitive. You'd better believe gatorade/powerade was a big contributor to that over the years, because I drank them all the time for sports/working out. I still drink them sometimes, but I'm more sensible about it and don't let it sit on my teeth (same for other acidic stuff)...and I haven't had a problem in several years now. I haven't had sodas since the 8th grade.
If I cared more, I'd definitely look into it more, but I believe it with the way things are so processed. It's just another thing to consider with sports drinks. Good to know.
