Gateway's New Designs

Well it's about time for a makeover if you ask me. They have been running the same model of computer case since as long as I can remember 😕. Who knows, perhaps giving their computers "sex-appeal", will help them score some new customers.

<< If only it included an AMD inside 🙁 >>

No AMD until Gateway profits are up 🙁 They are REALLY NICE cases, btw 🙂

Arg still no E class with DDR. 🙁 The Gateway 500SE is $70 cheaper than the SDRAM based E3600 for the components I need. Thus I'd save money and have computers that run significantly faster. Why won't any company sell DDR with their managed desktops?

I like it. Its about time. I've been getting Dell partially because they have had better prices but also because they have nicer looking cases. I am getting tired of the beige look. Speaking of cases, I need a new black desktop case for my home PC. I have a black monitor, black keyboard and black mouse but I am using a beige case and beige speakers. I was about to recommend a Gateway to someone a while back but then Gateway switched back to only using Intel so I ended up recommending a Micron PC.

Pictures were too darned small, even on Gateway's own site. I like the new look of Complaque... they even use nForce boards. 😉

Looks like they are following in Dell's footsteps. I noticed Crapaq switched over to black and silver as well.

this means that the novelty of my black case w/ silver compoennts will ware off soon?

the cases look nice - from what i can make out from the ultra mini-pic...i hate when they do sh1t like that.
