Gas prices are ever increasing

I'm honestly very surprised it didn't reach this price much earlier.

That, and, it's really not much of an extra expense for most people, except for unusual circumstances. To be honest, really what it is is thuggery on the part of the oil companies, plain and simple.

Gas is $0.14 per gallon in Venezuela. :Q

Yeah, amazingly, gas prices went down before Memorial Day here. Reached all the way to $1.76 at one point. It's gone back up to ~$2.00 since.

We can't drill off of Florida.
We can't drill off of Califrornia.
We can't drill in ANWAR.
No new refiniries built in 25 years.
We can't refine more oil even if it is given to us for free.
We can't build nuclear plants.
We can barely build a coal plant now and then.
World buffer oil supply at 1-3 million bpd. Thats nothing.
No one to blame but a cowardly short sighted congress and the nimby crowd.

This situation brought to you by the wind-bio mass-solar crowd.
$3.50 per gallon average by June 2006

a gallon of OJ is like 5 bucks
people spend a dollar on 20 ounces of water
people spend a dollar and a quarter on 16 ounces of pepsi
etc

gas is still incredibly cheap

ACtually they have gone down ALOT in my area. $230 a gallon for the cheap stuff here in seattle.

Put that into relative amounts of consumption. Gas up, about $40 a week.
Who really buys $40 of water or OJ a week?

It's all relative, people complain about what costs them the most over time.

What does your car's year have to do with the price at the pump? ERRRRRRRRR? ;p
Go get that damn CL already you n00b.
