Considering Trump is polling at 40%, I'm guessing Johnson picks up a point or two.

I'd rather cut off my own balls than vote for Hillary or Trump. Johnson wouldn't be as bad as self castration so I'll go with him.

Meh, who cares? Not knowing about the details about something you don't care about is hardly the worst sin. I'd take it over Clinton arming more rebels with automatic AR-15s.

Trump is getting security briefs I doubt he'd screw it up. His plan may suck or be too vague to understand but that's a different question.
While I don't have figures but I'd guess half of Gary Johnson supporters are for legal pot and the other half are guys like Glenn or Werepossum (not meant as a call out). Generally conservative guys but wanting to tax and spend appropriately and have an intelligent leader but Trump isn't that guy.

Johnson showed a lack of practice and/or a lack of desire to understand the issues. Essentially being an aloof Politician which I would guess is exactly what guys like Glenn or possum hate.
I much prefer the "who, me?" approach to foreign policy. Seems that every American politician who keeps up with these places is convinced he or she knows how to fix it. Then they either royally screw it up like Obama and Hillary, or they pull a Bush - carefully study the issue, cover every base, spend billions of dollars and thousands of our best's lives, and royally screw it up anyway.

There are two different approaches to dealing with the Middle East and Islamic Africa. Neither works. Ever.

What you're saying doesn't make any logical sense. Not remembering something later is not at all the same as having an opinion right now about something you don't understand right now.

It would take a pretty crazily partisan person to say anything other than that Clinton has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of the issues.
Um, she was pleading ignorance at the time (as well as now) as her defense for her misdeeds. Not that she doesn't remember it now, but literally that she did not understand the very basics of handling classified documents. Further, she was claiming a laughable amount of stupidity - that she thought the "C" just meant paragraph "C". When there was no other paragraph so delineated.

Unbelievable. Most libertarians are very caught up with current events...and Gary Johnson gets picked? I haven't heard very good things about him, other then he is still probably better then Hillary or Trump...which isn't saying much.

The classification expert is back with more amazing insights! I for one am excited to see what basic facts you get wrong this time while trying to sound superior.

lol I don't think you'll see much with your head that firmly lodged up Hillary's ass. Nonetheless, YOU are the one that claimed to be an expert on working with classified documents. Are you here to tell us that no one can possibly know that means classified information, or just your typical MO: declare that you are an expert, everyone else is laughably wrong, and not really say anything beyond that?

From the New Yorker:

Johnson’s inability to locate Aleppo, where men, women, and children are being eradicated every day, most recently by chlorine-gas attacks, was pathetic, the equivalent of a candidate for President in 1964 being unable to summon the location of Hanoi or Saigon.

And shouldn’t knowing nothing—in his case, or in Trump’s—be disqualifying? At the D.M.V., if you flunk the written exam, you can’t get behind a steering wheel with the motor running. Perhaps there should be a remotely similar bar for cluelessness in a Presidential campaign.

Gary Johnson"s, "What's Aleppo?" is a new low in this clown college campaign. :(

Hey Perknose, what do you think about automatic AR-15s being sent to rebels all over in the Middle East courtesy of the US?

All over? Do you mean what the royally pissed off Sunni Bad Guys looted from the Bush/Cheney era "We'll stand down as they stand up" asshole, toxic pipe dream of loading down the Shia Iraqi National Army with tons of ordnance in order to kill more Sunnis re-unite a peaceful and harmonious Iraq?

What would it take for me to put you in this lightly used, up-armored Hummer today? Just running away from the base and leaving the keys? It's your lucky day!

Of course, this is all Barack Obama's fault, amirite?

On the other hand, Hillary's self-professed inability to obtain even a bare minimum competence in the procedures of the department she headed for years is just more evidence that she is the most qualified person to ever seek the Presidency.

Actually I wasn't being obvious enough, my bad tbh, was hoping someone would bite in a more entertaining way. I don't really care about rebels one way or the other, the Middle-East has unstable ever since Eisenhower and we've hardly done a single thing to promote peace there outside of Israel's borders thanks to over 70 years of interventionist policies.

There's no such thing as an automatic AR-15, but that didn't stop Hillary from wanting to ban them to stop the next Sandy Hook, where said non-existent weapon was not used. I imagine that's just semantics though, Clinton has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of the issues after all.

And what's Hillary's plan for getting us involved in Syria?

Since Libya she had been arming terrorists who caused the very violence you seem to care about. Should we continue to fuel war and violence over there, is more Aleppo's your idea of a "solution"?
I for one favor a candidate that is NOT arming terrorists, and not forcing regime change in the Middle East. But Democrats seem to have forgotten their anti war stance the moment Bush left office. Where are your principles now?
