I don't have one but my brother in law who's big on 5ks loves his garmin. I don't know if you can do it on this one but you can set up routes on your device and track your times with it. I would imagine it to be great for pacing yourself.

I'd love to have one for my offroad exploits. I have no idea how far I've run on many occassions. And with an integrated heart rate monitor receiver, this thing is awesome. I'm going to show this to my wife, her Christmas shopping just got easy this year.

That's about the going rate lately. BB had these new for $130 a few months ago. Refurbs are going for about $120-$130 as well. But it is a great watch.

Saw one at Walmart.com the other day for 126. Its the 310 I want now. I'd also settle for linux support on the 305 too.

Just bought one of these the other week. Even before the sale Amazon was cheaper than where I found it elsewhere, but they won't ship electronics to Canada 🙁 The best price I could find at a brick and mortar (MEC) was $245 CDN. The markup at some places is just disturbing.

So far I only use it for tracking my heart rate and time/km, but it's great. When I get more comfortable with it I hope to try out the workout features.

This is down to $150 at bestbuy at the moment and amazon price is now $148. I still want one but don't wanna pay that. It's $180 at walmart.
