Mafia II
I tried a couple of months ago, but quit after either the part where your supposed to murder the hooker that tell to leave town, or the ambush at the farmhouse. I forget which is further in.Originally posted by: bamacre

This thread has inspired me. I believe my New Year's resolution will be "In 2010 I will not buy ANY game titled using the convention <name><#>".

lol I was thinking, sequesl are getting out of hand, but that resolution would limit you to about 2% of the AAA game market.

Diablo III, Guild Wars 2 (no subscription needed), Dragon Age, Alan Wake

I am perfectly fine with that. I played Diablo. I doubt Diablo II or III bring that much more to the table. I played StarCraft. I doubt II will be much different. Sequels give developers a chance to charge you for a slightly better version of what you've already done. If I only pay for 2 or 3 games in 2010 b/c of this, that's fine; at least I know I'll be supporting developers with quasi-original ideas.
Actullay, D2 is better than D1 in just about every way. Check out the thread about the guy asking if anyone still plays D1. D3 I could see skipping until it comes down in price, but skipping D2 is doing a disservice to Blizzard in their heyday.Originally posted by: sactoking
