Their involvement appears to be cancelling a couple panels over security concerns, because they got threats. Not a very smart move IMO. It's questionable how much of this is actually down to "gamergate drama" to begin with, but not surprising that LA Times would spin it that way.

What's interesting is that the two panels they cancelled were, as far as angry people on the internet are concerned anyway, diametrically opposed. The SavePoint panel, although not mentioning GG, had panelists who were pro or neutral to it (2/3 of them women, incidentally, not that anyone cares). This stuck out like a sore thumb and naturally resulted in a lot of angry people on twitter calling for the panel's removal or boycotting the event over it.

If both panels were being cancelled because of threats it would naturally follow that both were being threatened. But the response is that it got "the sort of harassment that the panel sought to highlight." Somehow I doubt that any kind of harassment the SavePoint panel may have received was of the sort they're thinking. It's very odd indeed that both Buzzfeed and Vox refer to both of the cancelled panels in their statements. I wonder if they're even aware that the second is the one that many in their popular audience were calling for the cancellation of.

I kind of wonder if SXSW didn't just really want to cancel the SavePoint panel, but used the cancellation of the Overcoming Harassment panel as a cover to try to appear impartial. Or if the cancellation was motivated by seeing both of these as controversy magnets. At any rate, I have a pretty good feeling that we'll see Overcoming Harassment uncancelled due to this media pressure, but I doubt the same will happen for SavePoint.

And his fans found out Laughing Witch's real name, and the fact that she and her husband owned a bathroom remodeling company. They've subsequently been flooded with bad reviews on Yelp & Google Reviews, and now get virtually no new business. They're going to have to shut their doors and lay off their employees. She apologized and closed her youtube account & twitter account.

Here's what you should do. Start a new youtube channel. Claim to be a female to male transsexual, and keep a vlog about day to day life and neat stuff you're learning as a guy. Really get into the SJW community and be one of them. Then occasionally make tearful videos about something. Pick a fight with Thunderf00t and say really stupid shit that is provably wrong. Eventually he'll post a video showing how dumb you are, and then you can claim victim status.

You could also use this as an opportunity to make videos about really weird things you want to do. "If I had a dick, I would just whip it out all the time and shake it at people. Take that, stupid McDonalds employee!"
