Considering they can all hit 1125/1575 yea I'd say so

This is not true, I have had HD 7970s that would not break the 1100MHz barrier. I even had one that wouldn't go over 1050MHz.

Though I would say the vast majority will reach GE speeds (1050/1500MHz).

Souv; while I like AMD; not a huge fan of Nvidia *well their business practices; their cards are nice*

Posting something from AMD's site or Nvidia's site to try and prove something just isn't going to work .....

I didn't have the time to read the whole thread so I don't know if anyone noticed this, but it's amazing how well 6990 scales. It's getting practically perfect scaling in a lot of tests, remember that it's not clocked like full 2x6970CF, but we don't know if it was tested in AUSUM mode or not (830/1250 vs 880/1250). Unfortunately 4-way scaling tests are nowhere to be found and I'll have to do it myself. The best I can hope for is the 3rd card adding 45% and the forth 25%.
I don't know how in 2560x1600 FXAA test 6970 can get 26fps and 6990 gets 52. 6970 enjoys clock advantage +50MHz on the core and 125MHz on the memory if it's running in the AUSUM mode which equalizes core clock it still has less memory bandwidth. Strange.

bro underhand magic is everywhere even in 3rd party sites ....no one does bench for FREE....remember the hardware secret ban and mutual mitigation,g3d image steal, etc etc guess how much we don't know and will never be!
i posted official bench to display the results similar to those 3rd party sites..that's all there's to it:)

The integrated benchmark is not really representative of gameplay performance. The 680 holds its own against the 7970 GE without TressFX, against the 7970 with TressFX but when you enable 4xOGSSAA, AMD can put their higher GFLOPs to use and pull ahead accordingly.

Titan is 20% faster than the 7970 GE, but clocks were fixed at 876 MHz for Titan. Let it boost to 1006 and it's 40% faster (not shown).

Yes but whats cost? eg. Cost to Performance ratio is Terrible in Titan !!!
Better get 2x XFX 7970 DD GHz ED and is about 800$ !! And with new Drivers will be much more Performance Gain and 5.7k playable ! 3 monitors

I think AMD is better for now and for the Future also PSX4 and MS 720 xBox

I got like 62.3 fps benchmark 1080p everything maxed except tressFX off with my current rig. As soon as I turn on tressFX, my average fps dropped all the way to 40.1. I had to say not bad for a 7850 o/c.

Whether you have AMD or Nvidia, this game is pretty broken. Users over at NeoGAF found certain effects don't even render in full screen mode... you have to run in windowed to get them.

At least with TWIMTBP titles, the games tend to work flawlessly on Nvidia hardware at least. AMD spent all their money on TressFX it seems...

These are all far worst that not having annoying lens flares in your game.

For at least 3 of those, the bugs only affected consoles. There are effects other than the lens flare missing as well...

batman arkham city .....

I can agree with that one, but it's only because they used GFWL. The point is, there's not many. And in the case of Tomb Raider, the developers promised in the past that the PC version would be great. Coupled with AMD's support I figured we would get a port mostly free of issues, but that's not the case. I really like the game, but it's disappointing they could not ship it relatively problem free.
