[Gamegpu.ru]Overwatch gpu performance

Post me some benchmarks, site is blocked for me 🙁

I was playing last night @1440 using "EPIC!" preset, never dropped under my fixed 59 setting.

Game runs heavenly (and is a lot fun). But it being Blizzard, I'm just going to assume NV hardware performs better?

I love Blizzard because of the sheer polish they put into games also game play first motto really helps with the longevity. They may not have the world's coolest looking graphics but we can be sure it will run great on all the hardware.

I was going to say this game takes too long to download but it's already ready!
It's Blizzard so yes, Nvidia will usually be better but I mean I hope it's a good game.

Wow, good SLI support out of the box. Kudos to Blizzard for getting it done. The consistency in min/averages are also very impressive.

Also look at that 780 Ti. Recent benchmarks makes it looks like that card has received a second wind.

Hmm odd results, wonder what settings.

I get min 60 fps (and limiting to display-based) on my 3770k w/ 290 (factory not OCd) @ 2560x1600

Ultra settings

Game runs and plays fantastic!

Last night I was playing with settings on "high" and a refresh rate of 85, and I never saw any frame drops below that. At really, even High looks quite good.

If I had to guess (site is blocked someone else might have to confirm) they used the Epic preset, which is above Ultra in the control panel.

Can easily do totally stable 60@1080p EPIC details on slightly OC 280x, and runs like buttery dream covered in more butter. Runs good on anything even calculators!

Game runs smooth as butter and the game play is insanely fun. Highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it out yet. It's actually making me look into 144 Hz monitors now O_O

Core i7 4.44GHz with R9 390 default win 8.1 64bit Cat 16.4.2

2560x1440 VSR Ultra settings

I dont think it fell bellow 60fps

Is it OK for me to be surprised that a 950 is beating a 7950/7990 ?

It is typical for Blizzard games to perform better on Nvidia hardware. Nvidia is partner of Blizzard, and they work pretty closely on optimizing the games. On the other hand, using those games as a mark of performance is stupid, like Gameworks.

CF does not work in any other Blizzard game: World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm. So it is not a matter of drivers.

Don't follow any of blizzard's games so didn't know that, now the question is why? what kind of scary code is it based of that AMD wasn't able to enable CF in this games?

Blizzard has been an Nvidia partner almost forever. Wow for example is featuring all sorts of Nvidia specific effects and optimizations. This has been the reason I was exclusively buying Nvidia cards between 2005 and 2011.
