Pretty sure he meant this for FS/FT.

And I think he is looking to buy what he listed.

Or he's trying to get a permanent vacation.

What if he's just asking for help on how to do it?

It is possible to modify a gamecube for things other than piracy (you can set it up so that you load the games off of a hard drive that is networked to your cube so that you don't have to change discs).

I think he's looking for a place like xbox-scene but for the gamecube. This isn't really an AT sorta thing.

yeah people mod their xbox all the time without the intent of piracy why does a guy who wants to mod his gamecube automatically going to pirate games. I haven't heard of anyone doing this but I am very sure it's possible.

The biggest reason to mod a GC is to play import games, pretty hard to find a mini DVD burner that writes backwards to match up with the GC's drive 😉

Ben - It's not a matter of the writing the image backwards, it's the trouble of the whacked-out physical layout of the miniDVDs, IIRC. There's a larger than normal spindle gap. Images can be byte-flipped anyhow.

Import-modding a Cube is also something anyone with a Torx screwdriver, soldering iron, and toggle switch can do. It's a matter of closed vs open bridge. Unless you want the L33t front-LED region indicator ... 🙂

Either way, the PSO exploit + BBA is used only for loading games (slowly, buggily, etc) and homebrew code. And at the point where you're coding homebrew, you know where to find this information.

Food for thought. BBA = capped at 10 megabit. GC disc read speed = 27 megabit. Hope you're hap[BUFFERING]...py with the Real Au[BUFFERING]...dio style load ti[BUFFERING]...mes. 😛
