Also Skies of Arcadia and Ogre Battle 64. I loved Paper Mario but I'd really enjoy seeing a more direct sequel to Super Mario RPG too.

I would like a sequel to shadowbane. It would have to be exactly like the first, except it would of course have a modern engine, and run stable, with no dupes or exploits and no lag in 500 man battles.

Not sure I'd pay more than $100, but maybe.

Games I would want to sequels for:

BG2
Xcom apocalypse
Metroid Zero Mission (not PC, but. Also, I don't consider the Prime series to be sequel to this)
NWN2
KoTOR 2
Fallout 2 (I consider FO3 and NV to be a completely different franchise)
GalCiv 2
Icewind Dale 2
Predator
AVP
Thief series
Xwing/Tie Fighter
Jedi Knight series
Sentinal Worlds
Wasteland

Alabama vs. LSU...oh wait, we already got that :)

Edit: honestly, I second the Diablo 2 reference and will have to check out Torchlight 2. Should I play Torchlight 1 first?

Wouldn't that be Curse of the Azure Bonds with Secret of the Silver Blades and Pools of Darkness following?

Yes, but I want a modern continuation of the story. And I'm willing to pay. Too bad there are only a few of us.......

I'm paying $100 for Wasteland 2, but other than that:

- Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines
- Planescape: Torment (Chris Avellone has talked about a KickStarter for a "spiritual successor" to PS:T)

Properly done, I'd fork out a lot of money for these. Emphasis on properly done. 100 dollars each better buy me a LOT of original, non-grind gameplay with a lot of character evolution.

I would love that as well. And the Krynn gold box games too boot. Great stuff.

I would add that I would love a sequel to Eye of the Beholder/Darkmoon. Loved that series.

I have collectors' editions of DA:O and ME3 and will be a lot more careful when forking out big money for games.

Maybe a perfect Civ and sci-fi or fantasy RPG/adventure game with lots of depth and a LOT of compelling and mature content. I'd like a complete makeover of the ME trilogy and something similar to BG/BG2 or PS:T, but neither of those need a direct sequel.

i'd pay over $100 for a sequal to any one of these

BladeRunner
a third sequal to Chronicles of Riddick
Einhander
A fourth sequal to God of War
Airfix Dogfighter
A remake of Unreal on a U4 engine.

I don't think there's really anything I'd pay $100 or more for. Maybe HL3 with a new engine... Although, it will obviously be on Steam, and you have to be really impatient to pay full price (not to mention $100) for a Valve game these days. Sure, Portal 2 was worth the full price, but it dropped pretty quickly IIRC. Who am I kidding? I'll buy HL3 for full price on or before launch day.

Serious Sam 4

Put down $50 for Grim Dawn. That's the most I've paid for a game in almost forever.
